I’ve known Master Morris for many years now, and it’s been an awesome experience! The instructors are super knowledgeable and really make you feel welcome, no matter your skill level. The classes are challenging but fun, and it is not just about martial arts, but also about discipline and focus. If you’re looking to get in shape or learn self-defense, this is the place to be!!
Barrington Martial Arts have fantastic instructors and the kids in class learn an amazing amount in a short period of time. My children both really enjoy going to class and they have both gained a great deal of confidence. I would highly recommend their classes to anyone who is interested!
We have been associated with Barrington Martial Arts for over 5 years. The owner and staff treat us all like family! The instructors are also brilliant role models as they inspire students to plan and excel in achieving their individual and collective goals. We love the leadership aspect that is included in classes as these are a must life skills. All the instructors are former national and international competitors. The head instructor Master Morris is a former Junior Olympic coach and he was even inducted into the Hall of Fame. This is by far the best and go to studio and I'd highly recommend it!
My son started his martial arts journey here earlier this year. He absolutely loves it and to be able to see his knowledge and skills grow is amazing! The instructors are fantastic and very open with communication

Barrington Martial Arts is such a fantastic place! My son has been going there for about 6 months and looks forward to every single class. The owner and lead instructor, Master Morris, is great with the kids. Not only does he instruct on the solid foundation of martial arts, but he instills pillars such as integrity, courtesy and kindness in his teachings. Master Morris recently hosted a Parents Night Out to support my children’s school’s PTO, and I couldn’t be more grateful. BMA’s generosity and spirit shine bright within our community!

My experience with this place reminded me that good businesses are hard to find. They didn't start on time, the staff were not professional, at the end of the day I had to call the police on the owner, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I can't even imagine how scared all those kids were when 2 squad cars and multiple cops showed up. Definitely not a healthy environment for any child. Avoidable situations involving police shouldn't happen anywhere, but when you have a ton of children around, the business should be held to higher standards for the physical and physiological safety of the children. Shame on this place.
