617 N Main St, Marksville, LA 71351
Over 35 years of martial arts training in Marksville. Owned by US Martial Arts Hall of Fame member and world-renowned martial artist Stevie Tillson.
This program is OUTSTANDING! It teaches so much more than just Karate. It is teaching my son (7) and daughter (5) confidence, respect and discipline. The instructors are true masters at the art and truly care about the well being of each child. We are blessed to have such a high quality program in our rural town!
My daughter goes here and I’m so happy that they push her to be her best. She is very shy by nature and they have trained her to be a junior black belt and she is now helping teach the younger kids. I’m so proud of this dojo and how they have helped my daughter accomplish so much!
A Great Dojo for training and learning the martial arts.
If you are looking to dedicate yourself to a life of martial arts, look no further than Steve Tillson. I have studied many years in the martial arts myself and he is the real deal. Shihan Tillson has the knowledge and skill to keep you always wondering what's next to learn. Look no further for a true Combat instructor, I highly recommend you train with a true legend.
Shihan Stevie Tillson and family are first exceptional people. When you first walk into their business it feels like a home. The environment is safe, clean and friendly. Stevie will greet you with a big smile and even a bigger heart. And the most exciting part of your experience is that he is an exceptionally, internationally recognized elite martial artist. Whether you are looking for an environment to teach your children life skills, a woman looking to learn to defend yourself or a competitive adult marital artist looking to hone your skills, your martial arts needs will be met with experience. I wouldn't choose any other Martial arts instructor for this area. I have personally trained with Shihan Stevie for over 4 years and never fail to be impressed! Plus he is the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his own back, literally!!
I have personally known Shihan Stevie Tillson for over 25 years. If you are looking for a place near the Marksville or Alexandria area this is the school that you need to go check out. This man has been dedicated to the martial arts his entire life and has had an active dojo in Marksville for over thirty years. The many years of experience that he has speaks volumes compared to most other instructors. At the end of the day his dedication to his students is what's important. Some instructors will try to offer classes for a very low price or even for free. Keep in mind you pay for what you get and this instructor is worth every penny compared to anyone in the area.
