I train BJJ at Hors Normes almost every day and I can't recommend this gym enough. Head instructor Professor Jonatas is a superb teacher. You will learn great Jiu-Jitsu here...Jonatas focuses on drilling and specific training to ensure you are learning techniques thoroughly. You will also get great workouts as other members train safe but will definitely challenge you when you roll!

Great instruction, and great class. Both the instructors and members were friendly and welcoming. Being new to BJJ, I was a little nervous about attending class but everyone was so nice and everything was broken down so that I could easily understand. Definitely recommend checking out a class. ☀️

Amazing school with incredible people. I was referred here by a friend in December and walked in with no prior experience in any sort of martial arts and was immediately welcomed by the class. The culture created by Jonatas and Wancler at Hors Normes is like nothing else and I couldn't recommend this place enough.
Place is awesome! Coach Jonatas is one of the best guys I met. Coach Wanclair, Coach Matt are all gr eww at coaches, they make it fun, and laugh. Nightly Recommend! I know I am signed up for life!!
This school is amazing, beautiful owner with great values. Awesome head coach who is 2020 pan-am/worlds champ, capable of teaching the most beginner friendly techniques. All the way up to competitor level strategy and training, along with great weight room area this place is made to make Bjj a new hobby you will come to love. The team is very accepting and helpful as well.
This gym provides the best authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction in Houston. Home of world champions. Excellent instruction with an individualized approach toward helping you achieve your fitness goals. Very beginner friendly, very clean facility, and most of all a fun place to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The instructors make everything simple for new comers, but are very capable of coaching and fine tuning even the most advanced practitioners. If you want to compete at the highest levels or just pick up a new hobby, this is the place to go.
