I have been watching professor Ataíde since I saw him compete in Summit II. He is one of the best competitors, teachers, and coaches in the world. It is a dream come true to actually get to train with him. He is very personable in his approach and knows how to push all of his students to bring out the best in them.
My son has started doing Jujitsu and I’m loving the confidence he is building! He loves it so much and cannot wait each day for training! His trainers are amazing!!
Excellent academy with great professionals, I recommend it. ❤️

I have trained under Professor Ataide for the last eight years and he is hands down one of the best in the world. Professor Ataide Rafael is a phenomenal instructor and competitor with a wealth of experience and an undeniable passion for the art. His teaching style is both technical and approachable, making every class feel productive, engaging, and enjoyable, no matter your skill level. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the fundamentals or an experienced practitioner wanting to sharpen your game, you'll find exactly what you need with Professor Ataide and Arte BJJ. Professor Ataide makes you feel like family from day one. I can't recommend Arte BJJ enough—if you're in the Conway area, this is the place to train! Conway is lucky to have a World Champion in their backyard.
“I’ve been a student of Professor Ataíde at Art BJJ for almost 10 years, and I can confidently say he is the best! His dedication, knowledge, and passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu are unmatched. He creates an incredible environment where students of all levels feel welcome and motivated to improve. The technical details he shares have transformed my game, and his mentorship has gone beyond the mats, teaching valuable life lessons. If you’re looking for world-class instruction and a supportive community, Art BJJ is the place to be!”
