My son began training at ARMR a few months ago and it has rekindled his love for Martial Arts. Sensei Omar and all of the staff at ARMR have a way of being inviting, motivating, and inspirational. The staff that works there gives my son a model to look up to and a positive role model to emulate.

Long overdue review. Our son has been with Sensei Omar for over 3 years now and we have always been pleased with Sensei Omar’s knowledge to teach our future black belt all the foundational skills in and out of the mat. ARMR Studios is always kept clean and has all the latest equipment which is a big plus. Thank you Sensei for all that you do for the kids.

ARMR Studios is one of the best MMA studios in the area. When it comes to praising a positive impact on discipline, fitness and confidence ARMR provides it. We also love the quality of instruction and experience in the instructors. The overall atmosphere of the studio brings good energy and the children LOVE it!

My family loves Sensei Omar and his staff. Mr Mike has become my boys favorite person and such a great role model for them! The amount of time and energy they put in to each student to make them feel welcome and confident is unmatched. My kids skills have come so far and they are taught in a positive, fun environment that makes them want to keep coming back.

Blown away by Sensei Omar and his team at ARMR Studios!! Our son doesn’t always enjoy group sports, and is more of an artsy kid, but still loves playing physical games and being active. We tried one class and were hooked!! The studio is beautiful, clean, energetic, and LOUD! The classes are fast paced and fun. The lessons about discipline & perseverance are priceless. And you will be shocked how much they learn in such a short amount of time. Plus they get to break a board when they complete their first mission! I can’t say enough good things about this studio. So happy Sensei Omar decided to make Bell Works his new home!

I have known Sensei Omar for about 24 years now and have had the pleasure of watching him grow into the strong, amazing role model we all see today at The Armory. Not only is he a well-rounded, experienced, and clever instructor who expands on basic curriculum, but he is unconditionally supportive to ALL of those who come through the doors of The Armory. This is a safe community that encourages self growth and fosters those in need of guidance, while also prioritizing the importance of self-defense.

As someone who has not been active in quite some time, the idea of an activity like this could be intimidating but Sensei Omar was extremely inviting, attentive and patient.. I thoroughly enjoyed the self defense class and am excited to return!

Had an absolutely amazing time here. My girlfriend and I were wandering around Bell Works when we found this studio and Sensei Omar came out and offered us the experience. Never thought it would be my thing but he was an amazing teacher who was so patient and encouraging. 10/10 will certainly be coming back and even getting a membership after my trial.

Sensei Omar and his team work round the clock and are so patient, enthusiastic and skilled with teaching their students! My daughter has gained so much confidence, determination and is excited to come to class. It's been wonderful to witness her evolution and she's even considering getting her black belt! Clean, modern studio, great schedule and program/activities for kids in addition to the weekly classes available. She and her friends also had a fabulous time at her 6th birthday party here!

Sensei Omar and the staff at ARMR are exceptional and I don’t use that description lightly. To be honest, I don’t think it even does them justice. My daughter has been training with Sensei Omar for 3 years. He continues to teach her all the physical aspects of karate while combining the importance of self defense, focus and confidence. More than that, he leads by example in teaching his students and team to be great role models. These are the things that matter most. Hands down, I would recommend ARMR to anyone and everyone.

I used to be terrified of crowded places I was unfamiliar with, so I would try to avoid places like the city as often as possible. But after a year of working with Sensei Omar I’ve gained the knowledge and experience to be confident that I’ll be able to handle myself no matter where I am in life. For what I thought was just going to be self defense I got so much more than I could’ve expected. On top of learning how to defend myself I’ve learned discipline, how to work with others, and how to push myself beyond what I thought was possible. The community Sensei Omar has fostered too is incredible everyone is supportive, friendly, and always willing to help. First coming here I thought I’d be primarily learning on my own but I’m always learning and or teaching others all of which have a sense of camaraderie which is a privilege I never thought I’d get. It’s easy to see the effort and dedication Sensei Omar puts into the classes, the students as a whole, and to each individual whether they’re new or old students. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and all of the others you impacted for the better.

My grandson has been training with Sensei Omar for nearly a decade! The lessons he has learned from him have completely changed him as a person. Ive seen my shy little boy transform in to a confident, respectful and responsible leader. The martial arts classes are not only a great at teaching him self defence but they have also helped him become an all around better athlete. I could not be more satisfied with my experience here, their new space is BEAUTIFUL! Super clean, spacious and safe. We cant wait to watch our grandchildren continue to grow here for years to come!

We love ARMR studio! My son has been training under Sensei Omar's guidance for a few years and it is amazing how much he has grown, not only in karate, but in general. The classes are great and in addition to martial arts, Sensei Omar teaches respect, focus, discipline and how to gain the self confidence needed to perform at your best potential.

Sensei Omar has been my instructor for 12 years now and Its so hard to explain how much he has done for me. I started training martial arts when I was a shy little 5 year old who never wanted to leave the house. My parents made me take karate lessons to just make some friends and actually go out into the world without having to hold on tight to my mom. I still remember going to my first lesson and wanting to leave as soon as possible to get pizza from the place next door. I don’t know how he did it but Sensei Omar was able to make me step onto the mat so fast and made me feel as strong as the hulk when I hit those pads keeping a smile on my face the whole time. I still talk with my parents about how much I had changed from that shy kid to a disciplined and respectful kid. What sensei Omar taught me wasn’t only kicks and punches but it also applied to school and home. I actually started doing my chores around the house even before my parents asked, I did my homework on time and aced my tests, and I tried to help out anyone as much as I could. Sensei Omar changed my life as a kid and I am still learning from him now, he is one of the biggest role models I have had in my life and I really hope every kid gets the chance to look up to him also.
