The little ninja programs has been great for my daughter, she loves it. The teachers are very knowledgeable, and great with the kids. The facilities are clean and and well Maintained.

Armada is an outstanding martial arts school teaching Brazilian jiu jitsu to all ages, from toddlers to seniors, 6 days a week. Muay Thai kickboxing is also available. Friendly instructors and students, a focus on health and safety, and a super clean environment make this my favorite place to train. Locations on Aloma in Winter Park, and on Alafaya in Oviedo. ❤️
The professors and staff greeted us kindly on our first visit, and every day since. The gym is clean, family oriented, and welcomes people of all ages and skill levels. The professors are very knowledgeable and experienced in jiu jitsu, and teach it with patience and passion. The gym has a friendly and supportive atmosphere. They ensure that everyone is safe and respectful on the mats. A great place to improve fitness, self-defense, and confidence for you or your children.
As a complete jiu jitsu beginner I find the team at Armada to be warm, welcoming, and exceptional teachers. The others who train here are so friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the classes are relaxed and fun, with an emphasis on learning. My kids love it too! They enjoy their classes and absolutely love their teachers. The other kids are so friendly to mine, and they never felt out of place. My youngest child struggled with a bully at his school and after a few jiu jitsu classes he had the courage to not only stand up to the bully but the restraint to not fight back when the bully was acting out at school. His new found self confidence is a direct result of the training at armada jiu jitsu and the support of his teachers Darin & Jake. He is so proud every time the black belts give him feedback and encouragement. Training at Armada Jiu Jitsu is the perfect thing for anyone who wants to learn self defense, acquire a new skill, or maybe just have a little bit of fun while exercising. If you or your child are struggling with self-confidence, jujitsu is exactly what you need!
If there were 1k Gold stars I would give them all. Here at Armada kids don’t only have fun, get fit, they also get structure, discipline, they learn to respect and care for others, and lots of team work! While having a great time! I can only say that my son’s personal growth have increased tremendously, how resilient, caring, and strong he has become… and we have only been at it since August of 2022. I visited Armada during my work trip from Ohio and all I can say is thank you to Professor Darin!! He was kind, very knowledgeable, and even stayed after class to help me improve my game. For this being my first time to this school and even Florida, I felt like home! I’ll definitely be stopping by every time visit Oviedo, FL.
I been training jiu jitsu for over two and half years and when my kids wanted to do it with me they didn’t like the gym I was training at the time, so we give Armada a change in 2021 and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The instructors at my gym are incredibly knowledgeable and patient, making the learning process fun and enjoyable. The community atmosphere is also fantastic, with people of all ages and skill levels working together to improve. I've noticed significant improvements in my strength and flexibility since starting BJJ and it's also a great stress reliever my kids also enjoy practicing as it has become a family routine. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get in shape and learn a new skill. 5 stars! All the way and that’s because google doesn’t take 10 star ratings.
I’ve trained at a handful of places in the past 16 years and serveral jiujitsu schools. This place is the first that made me feel like family, and not just a student. The teachers are really chill, but the training is world-class. The teachers and students have a lot of Ws under their belts.
Darin, Heather, Leo and Jake, have been nothing short of amazing. Since the first day I walked into the doors of Armada I was treated like family. Darin, Heather, Leo and Jake are extremely passionate about what they do. Darin always try to lend a helping hand if the student is not fully grasping the technique. The atmosphere of Armada is amazing and everybody is so kind. I truly see all the students that go there my brothers and sisters. They look after one another and make sure you’re understanding. When it comes to combat sports, you can typically find that there is a positive culture when there is a good sized female membership. The gym is very clean and the members are so welcoming. It's a great place to learn but also to form friendships.
I dropped in for the women’s yoga and bjj class with Abby. It felt great to warm up with yoga and then move into the jiu jitsu. Everyone was so welcoming, and I loved how the techniques she showed transitioned into each other. I will definitely be back. It was a perfect Sunday :).

Jake Horst and Darin are great instructors. They are both very professional, and provide a nice family environment to train in. The facilities at the Oviedo and Winter park are both very modern, clean, and new. I would recommend anyone new, or seasoned to brazilian jiu jitsu to come in and try a class here.

This is by far the best BJJ gym I’ve gone to, the staff and coaches are amazing. Everyone is always willing to help and teach, it’s a wonderful place to do something difficult and have fun at the same time. The kids program is awesome, I’ve watched my 9 year old blossom and my almost 3 year old is excited to become part of the Armada Family. Nothing but great things to be said about this place.

I’ve been learning Jiu Jitsu with Armada for almost 2 years and it’s been such a rewarding experience. The coaches are all so kind and knowledgable, & they really push you to be your best. I’ve attended the Winter Park location for the past 4 years , you will not find a cleaner gym with a better vibe . This place has an amazing kids program and the instructors are all very welcoming,
