I had the privilege to train with amazing coach/sensei Julio during his time in Brussels when he was a boxing teacher and still a blue belt. So proud to see he’s a teacher and working hard to teach his students with the same passion and kindness. A professional teacher but also an understanding and good person. A very good professional who also listens to his students and helps them learn as much as possible in their own pace. Jiu Jitsu isn’t easy and when first starting out students tend to get disheartened when they don’t know the techniques. It’s truly a sport that challenges the body as well as the mind. As sensei called it: Chess with your body. Keep training hard and remember it’s not about the colour of the belt, but growing and learning about yourself and the sport along the way. Thank you for your teachings mestre 🙏🏻 Oss
Posted 3 months agoA.G.A in Amsterdam is the place to be for anyone passionate about grappling! Julio and Fernando, our black belt teachers, are not just instructors, they're family. The camaraderie here is amazing, and it's like stepping into a second home every time I walk through the door. The level of Jiu Jitsu is off the charts, whether you're in it for the love of the sport or aiming for competition gold. The techniques taught are top-notch, and the attention to detail is unmatched. You'll leave every session feeling like you've leveled up, both physically and mentally. What I love most is the sense of community. Everyone supports each other, pushing you to be your best while having a blast doing it. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned grappler, A.G.A is where you want to be. Trust me, you won't find a better place to roll!
Posted 3 months agoAfter moving from Italy to Amsterdam, I was very lucky to discover this Academy. Here is why: 1. Instructors: super skilled, passionate and professional. 2. Team mates: respectful, helpful, tough but fair players. 3. Atmosphere: is really stimulating, either you want to compete or you just want to train for fun. As brown belt I strongly suggest these guys!
