This gym is hands down an amazing gym to begin training at, even if you are brand new they will work at your own pace and will help you immensely and throughly. The coaches care about their students and want the students to do their best and grow. I can’t wait for this gym to open back up and to continue training.

An excellent facility with wonderful staff. My only complain might be that because it is so large it's not always possible to get attention from instructors

I can’t say enough positive things about American Top Team. Not only is it the most prestigious place to train professionally, my young niece has been many times and loves it. She comes every summer and we really enjoy the program. The instructors are great and we find the facility to be top notch. Whether you are interested in professional training or just looking to fuel your passion for MMA, I can’t recommend ATT enough. Kayla Harrison 2X Olympic champion.

American Top Team is an amazing facility with world renown coaches that will help you become a better martial artist regardless of age. Coach Bruno and Coach Montgomery are outstanding in every aspect of coaching martial arts. This gym is not your basic stand-in-front of punching bag for an hour and call it a day gym, these coaches develop a program that will push not only physically but mentally. I am very lucky and grateful to have access to a facility like American Top Team near me.

Words can't express how much American Top Team has helped me as a martial arts practitioner and a person. I appreciate everyone I train with and I especially appreciate Coach Steve Bruno for building us. He is without a doubt the best striking coach in the world. And again, a post can't express enough gratitude I have for him and this gym.

I love ATT. It has taught me so many important value such as determination, striving for success, and perseverance. I have also learned important skills for self-defense coming here. Coach Steve Bruno, in particular, has helped me immensely. He has shown me how to stay tough and not crack under pressure. I have learned a lot under his tutelage and it is an honor to get to train here.

I started bjj about 5 months ago. It has been much more than I thought it would be, life changing experience thus far. The coaches have been great, especially Ryan Quinn. I have been taking private lessons with Ryan and it has really helped especially since being a white belt means you are usually the one getting choked rather then doing the choking. The private lessons have definitely made a significant difference, Ryan has been great to work with and I find myself getting choked less and less and I owe a lot of that to him.

Sometimes children are ready and sometimes they aren't. If they listen at home then they're ready. If not, maybe you should start with an unorganized soccer class. This is a great program but the foundation starts at home.

Just came across this post about Bob, the head instructor of the little champs class at ATT. All I they is that our experience was very different. We had a great experience. My step- children were in Bob's class for several years(until they got older) and they loved it. Bob and the other instructors are very good at what they do. He runs a structured class that teaches respect, confidence, fairness, and friendship and he was always respectful of my husband and I. We highly recommend his class. That's why they are "Top Team".

I have been attending ATT morning fitness class Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 a.m. since the week before Christmas. Steve and Ryan are both awesome coaches (Steve is the am coach, Ryan the PM coach) and although their workouts are different in style and delivery, both deliver in effective and enjoyable workout! Since joining my strength and athleticism have improved greatly. I'm not one to normally join a group fitness class, I actually enjoy working out by myself so I was a bit hesitant with joining but I truly do love the class and I wish it was Monday through Friday, every morning, because I would definitely go and put in the work! Steve is great at motivating the class throughout the workout and making you push when you want to give up. He also teaches us good techniques, helps us to change or modify for injuries and explains each workout as well as answers all of our questions! Definitely recommend this fitness class for the beginner or advanced because no matter how in shape you are you'll still get a great workout in!

I joined ATT a few months back and was interested in the Brazilian jiu jitsu discipline with no gi. Naturally, I was a bit intimidated, (having no real experience fighting), but that quickly went away. Ailton Barbosa and Ryan Quinn were the coaches who introduced me to the class and they took their time with me and made sure I felt comfortable. They were really patient with me as they taught me a few basic moves. Everyone in the class is super cool too and will teach you as you train with them. If you’re a beginner, be prepared to eat some humble pie. At 6’2” 220lbs, it’s humbling when someone half your size taps you out repeatedly lol but it gets the juices flowing and makes you want to get at it even more. I decided to get some private lessons with Ryan Quinn and he’s the best (aside from the fact that he’s a yankee fan). Super patient and takes his time to teach you the right technique. He’s also real easy to talk to and you feel like you’re with one of your boys. I’ve improved a lot with him and am feeling a lot more confident when I’m in class drilling and rolling with other classmates. Just the other day I had 4 consecutive tap outs and it’s definitely because of my personal training time with Ryan. I highly recommend ATT and if you can swing it get the personal lessons with Ryan Quinn. You’ll improve a lot faster and you’ll have fun doing it. I’m hooked! Thanks Ryan and the team at ATT 🤙🏼

My name is Isabella and I started to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Wrestling there about 3 years ago. I LOVE all my amazing coaches!!! I do private lessons with Gezary Matuda and she helped me win first place in one of my competitions! I have also train with Master Bruno, Master Carinna Damm, Wrestling coach Steve Mocco, Kickboxing Coah Steve Bruno, and I am excited for my first private Muy Thai lesson with the legendary Anderson Franca! The staff and people at the gym are super helpful and really nice. There is an amazing family atmosphere at ATT, and we truly are a close team! The Pro's who train there are incredible and really down to earth. I feel very proud to be apart of ATT and would encourage everyone to make this gym their home gym!!! Your gym and team are incredible and I want to thank you for letting me be apart of this!!! ATT ROCKS!!!

I have trained at ATT over the past year learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in both the teen and adult class and have also tried out the fitness class. The facility is extremely clean, orderly, and well maintained and my instructors have been professional, qualified, attentive, and have pushed me while still being fun and making an attempt to have a somewhat personal relationship with me and all the other students. The overall environment is very positive and for the most part I have always felt like other students are there to learn and do not display overly aggressive behavior when it’s uncalled for. I would recommend ATT in Coconut Creek for everyone but, from personal experience, especially if you are a young woman who’s nervous about starting BJJ in a coed environment; I think you will find ATT (both the staff and students) to be welcoming, respectful, and non-intimidating while simultaneously providing great teaching for students of all levels!! :)

American Top Team is the best place to train. My training with MMA coach and jiu jitsu black belt Ryan Quinn was amazing. He is a true professional. He tailored my training to my specific needs. Ryan Quinn had a very structured training program that elevated my attack strategy as well as my defense. He is truly a class act. American Top Team Coconut Creek FL, is the optimal place for those serious aficionados of MMA, Kick Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, or anything in between. Whether you are looking to compete or just want to experience a day with the pros, American Top Team is second to none. I will be returning to this great gym soon, and recommend you do the same. Did the 1 week trial for $10 and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is very laid back and everyone is willing to help out if you're having trouble with technique. Every now and then you see a UFC fighter nonchalantly training with fellow classmates which is cool! Staff is professional and nice. The price is reasonable for what you're going to get out of it. I think it was $160 for all access. The only reason I didn't become a member is the drive is a little too far for me. You get free t-shirts when you sign up as well!

I started looking for a Jiu-Jitsu gym when my son turned 4 years-old, but I was VERY wary of choosing a gym that would just teach him to become violent and fight. I spent a lot of time researching and visiting gyms, driving upwards of 45 minutes from my home. ATT instructors are super caring and professional. They never let the kids hit or fight and they instill great team and martial arts values. My son absolutely loves his coaches, class members, and the art of Jiu Jitsu and I could not be happier. Additionally, I decided myself to take a kickboxing class, mostly for the physical exercise but also just to learn some martial arts and I have been blown away by how quickly you feel a part of the team and really start learning. Not to mention the amazing workout you get! I drive 30 minutes each way to go to ATT and would not change it for anything. I feel respected, none of the fighters or member have ANY attitude at all, and you get trained by some of the best coaches in the world.

Hands down the best place around. Since leaving the Marine Corps and serving 3 combat tours in Iraq, I have been looking for a place to train. ATT Coconut Creek is like a second home to me and I can't thank them and the people who got me involved enough (Joe Martine and Steve Bruno). I highly recommend this gym to any military members looking to stay physically active. This has been one of the best releases for me and if I didn't join when I did, I wouldn't be on the positive path that I am today. Best words to describe this gym: I love it.

The place is so huge you might assume you'd get lost in the crowd. Not so at American Top Team. Take a look at the Google Maps Virtual Tour to see what I mean. I've been training bjj and muay Thai there since last summer and I couldn't be happier. If I could train more hours than I do, I'd be even happier. This is a house of of learning, respect and comradery, and seriously good training. The professional atmosphere assures the place is being managed well, evidenced prominently in the curriculum based learning and the very presence of professional fighters and fight coaches. But it's the teaching staff in general that makes the experience truly gratifying. We train hard and learn well. I came after seven years of tkd and krav maga, earning a black belt in the former and achieving instructor certification in the latter. American Top Team has not only availed training in bjj and muay Thai (and they offer at very fair prices plenty more), but I've grown as a martial artist. Plus, I'm in the best shape of my life and I'm having a blast doing it. And, hey, the haters will hate, but you walk into this place and everyone --staff, members, parents of kids--is obviously happy to be there.

I have trained at ATT 5+ years now. The recent rate hikes will more than likely drive me elsewhere. Guys that have trained for years there are now being hit for a yearly "initiation fee" as well as paying more for fewer classes. Sure they have a number of scheduled classes but depending upon your payment schedule you can only attend a certain number per week unless you spring for the "unlimited package" 160-175/month. Liborio is an excellent instructor and honorable man but he teaches infrequently. We have gone through about 8-9 different instructors and most don't even learn your name. Once the wow factor of the sheer number of pros there wears off -the bottom line is if you want to really learn the art go somewhere else.

When I first walked in, I was hit with a dirty stench of sweaty balls and feet. After looking around at the facility you get a sense of ego and machoism from the practioners(not very welcoming). After checking out the facility I asked the guy at the front desk (younger guy with brown curly hair) about the pricing and scheduling and he respond seoth it's a private class and I said ok no nig deal how do we go by signing up or getting more info. His response was like a parrot and wouldnt give any info on how to sign up. They need to train their staff better. He seemed a little unfriendly. This was I guess a pro class and me training over a decade in martial arts I didn't really see the effectiveness in some of the training. They had them doing cart wheels and hand stands and the kickboxing they were just hitting pads( nothing special). All in all, I would go elsewhere to learn a martiaL set that has a better environment that smells better with more friendly people and are helpful with prospects as well as better skill. This place is def way over rated. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. Response to reply 3/22/23 Yes it was the coconut creek. You said it's not o n to Public but I seen a kids class going on for wrestling. Care to explain that? Those kids are pro wrestlers? Explain. Also even letd say it's only for private instructions you need to train your staff to have better customer service skills and don't come off egotistical and bully mentality.

I'm here for work for a week and wanted to keep training as I've been training martial arts my whole life and had kickboxing fights. A guy opened the locked doors and said it is now PERMANENTLY closed to the public and essentially that you can only come in if you are a representative of ATT as a fighter. Just very strange; I have no issue with some kind of private fight gym but never read or saw anything that eludes to that. Just wanted to get some rolling and sparring in, or even only hit the heavy bag.

Horrible experience! My son (3 years old) has been going there now for three months and everything was going great. He loved the coaches and was really enjoying himself. Then out of nowhere the Main Guy Bob pulls me to the side and tells me that my son has been disruptive the last few weeks. My son is 3 years old and at times doesn’t put his %100 effort but he was never disruptive. He was acting like every other child his age. It’s unfortunate that this place claims to be a place where your children can build confidence but it’s actually the exact opposite. Bob pulled my son off the mat and started to yell at my husband and very dramatically said to him he will no longer be able to come to the facility... he did all of this right in front of my three year old. His little heart is broken because we really enjoyed coming here. They really need to look in to retiring Bob from the 3-6 year old class because he doesn’t know how to work with kids in the age range. The general manger is a nightmare too. Don’t waste you time or money bringing you children to this place!

I've trained at Muay thai gyms across the world, but man this gym literally needs to get their act together. I did a class about a year ago coming back from Thailand. I have been trying to schedule privates with this guy named "Steve" for months. Guy has no courtesy of even returning my calls. I called again twice about 2 weeks ago and the Front desk claims they don't even have his number. What gym can't get a hold of their trainers? If your looking to train at ATT, go to the FTL one. A bit of a drive but WAY BETTER. Private sessions at ATT FTL is where you will get your money's worth at. I'd like to get this sorted out and fixed but until then I will leave this review up here and let others know.

This gym is an atrocity. And they were about to pay me off to keep silent. I’ve filed a police report for them participating in the dirty side of martial arts where they have their students target new ones that try out classes. I might suffer long term health problems as a result of going here. May they get sued and suffer the consequences of their neglect.
