The Sapling School has LOVED our weekly sessions of Little Ninja and the faces and behaviors of the children who take the course speak for themselves!!! They are learning body control, direction following, sequencing, and so many other skills that support their growth and developmental needs. Partnering with Sir was an excellent decision :)

Our family has been part of the ASDFC "family" for 17+ years when my older daughter tested all the way up from a little ninja at 2.5 years old to her junior black belt at 9/10. She is now in college and my younger daughter is a current little ninja. This goes to show the kind of impression they have left on us and they have played a huge role in the growth and development of my children. At the Little Ninjas level they teach all the elements of karate in a fun way. Sir, Debbie and all the instructors are top notch!

The ASDFC team has been a great extra curricular program we've been able to offer to our students. I have seen such great improvement from day one that have exceeded my expectations. The team has even given our teachers great listening and focusing skills that they can apply in their classroom to improve classroom management as well. Our students always look forward to Friday's with Sir. We appreciate all that the ASDFC company has done and we definitely recommend them!

Master Fred and his team are wonderful at American self Defense and Fitness. My daughter has been taking classes since she was 4 years old. She stared as a little Ninja and now a yellow belt. She loves her class and looks forward to it everyday.

My 13 year old enjoys the self defense and boxing classes. The instructors are enthusiastic and keep the kids entertained and interested. They are taught defense, striking, and grappling techniques and then they might end class with a game of dodge ball. In a time where it's hard to keep teens occupied without a phone, it is great to see them moving and having fun. Awesome place to send your kids.

One of the Few Schools that actually teach traditional Martial Arts and Specialized Self Defense & Tactics Programs. Their expertise and well structured classes help 1st timers be comfortable and build self confidence. * * * * * Highly Recommend * * * * *

My daughter has been taking classes with Master Fred at her preschool each week since the Fall season. She absolutely loves class each week and is so excited to share what she is learning with her family at home. We recently attended a graduation at the Rochelle Park studio location and were amazed by all the wonderful work Master Fred and his staff provide. They all show compassion and great skill when working with young children. Our daughter is currently enrolled in a second semester of the Little Ninja program. We are so happy to have had this great experience for our child. She is learning about balance, taking turns, building strength and what to do in case a stranger approaches---fantastic life skills overall! Thank you for this most wonderful experience for our child! Keep up the amazing work! Highly recommend it!!

My son has been going here for a few years now, They are amazing!!! When COVID stopped them from on-site classes they made sure the kids still had classes and a schedule. They made all classes available virtual, and videos for the kids to re watch. I can’t say enough about them! Ms. Debbie and Sir are AMAZING! All of the instructors are amazing! Thank you all for everything you do!!!

Our kids have been going here for over 6 years and both have learned a lot from the great teachers. The teachers are very patient and encouraging with the kids but also ensure that they all learn and progress. Over the past year, they have been innovative in finding ways to keep teaching classes in a safe way because of COVID-19. The curriculum is designed to ensure students learn discipline, respect, problem solving, self confidence, self defense, team work, and keeps them in great physical shape.
