Our son started learning TKD 3 years ago and had the privilege of being taught by the great Masters Hyun, Kim, Winter, Matthew, An, and now Jeong. The Masters and Instructors have been nothing short of outstanding. Their ability to connect with children is commendable and, quite honestly, magical. Our son is a black belt and takes pride in his accomplishment. Under the AMAA brand, the school has fine-tuned the children's focus on discipline, form execution, and fun! We could not be happier. Thank you for a great experience!

Super fun :) The instructors are very understanding and supportive but still push students to their potential. I always left tired and sweaty but in a good way, feels really good to exercise and release tension here.

My best friend goes here and works with these amazing children and honestly when I went to visit a couple of times for belt testing d to cheer them on it was very nice with a great environment very welcoming to others. The masters and instructors are like one big family and I can see the love they have for the children. You will not regret bringing your child here. They will dedicate there time and effort to help there students taekwondo journey

I really like this place when I visited it for the first time I really like that it had a lot of space to learn and it’s not like other places you visit, the people their are so kind and inviting they have young instructors teaching they know what their doing and their kids of different ages which is good so if your a parent I recommend 100% so send your kids and friends and have fun learning

Both of my sons go to AMAA. The past couple of years have been an amazing transformation for them. They have developed greater confidence, learned what respect looks like, and their self discipline is noticably more consistent at school and at home. They needed this more than I could have ever imagined. I signed them up because they wanted to be ninjas like many other 6-7 year old kids. Now, they are realizing just how much they are capable of and they are receiving so much additional love, support, encouragement, and new friendships with the best kind of role models that any parent could wish for their kids. Now their goals are to earn black belts, join special teams, and become instructors some day. The instructors and Masters are EXTRAORDINARY. I also love seeing the older kids in leadership training build them up with cheers and high fives. They are accepted and supported by the "bigger kids" and it means so much to them. I'm so proud of all the kids at AMAA for being better, doing better, and showing my kids that it is better to lift ourselves up while lifting others up too. It is amazing to watch and I can't thank AMAA enough for providing exceptional leadership and support for my kids to challenge themselves to realize their full potential. American Martial Arts Academy's Naperville, Oswego, and Bolingbrook locations are excellent. Master Nathan, Master Hoon, Master Hong, and Master An are outstanding instructors who inspire students to love martial arts. They helped my son grow in confidence and personality. The academy has a warm, family-like atmosphere, showing affection and respect. I highly recommend it to everyone; it's a smart investment for aspiring athletes.
This place is great. I’ve been going here a while now and my skills have improved substantially. Highly recommend if you wanna learn some self defense.

Me and my Sister used to go here together since they opened and every single master and instructor are amazing no matter who they are. My sister still attends here and honestly all of our belt testings and tournaments have been amazing. the environment of this place really did change me for the better. Masters and Instructors are like one big family they will dedicate there time and effort to help the students taekwondo journey just like they did with me.

American martial arts Academy it’s a very good place for your kids because they teach him discipline. It’s also really fun when they have tournaments because you get to see other kids from Other tae kwon do and they get together to show off their skills and then instructors are very nice.

SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! Not only are the classes conducted with the utmost quality but there aren’t any hidden fees! Most martial arts schools makes you pay some sort of testing fee or other fees simply to continue training. However, this martial arts school takes a genuine interest in your child’s health and well being; both physically and mentally… not only will your child learn important life skills but they will also create core memories! The community that this taekwondo school has created is so amazing! Simply put, a warm and welcoming environment.
We are loving taekwondo at Master Kim’s. The teachers are so good with the kids and it’s so fun to watch our daughter learn the art of taekwondo!
Both of my boys love coming here! The teacher, and all the staff and other students are very nice and friendly, I highly recommend to join.
This place was good a year ago with master winter and now they are begging for 5 stars they over charge on fees and prices when we didnt have to before they over price and they are rude and disrespectful and worst of all judgemental lets not talk about the quality master winter is the best master and when she comes back and takes the place back this place will be what it used to be fun exciting and I will go back to thinking its a cool place to get distracted this place is horrible and very draining do not take your child here.
Signed up thru Facebook. Was suppose to be 2 weeks free. Recieved automated text to start on a date. Was told class would start at 5:10p. Went to location and waited kept sending texts because location was not open. Found out the texts were automated and location in Oswego had not been opened yet and was told they would get back to me when they open. So, no class. These automated texts need to stop! I'm thinking that we would be starting a class for my kid and unfortunately never happened! Guess I'll be going to a different school!
