Our friend recommended AMAA to us and we’ve had a wonderful experience with the program and team there. We signed up our 6 yr old for the tiny tigers class last year and he loves it. The instructors and leadership members are always positive and super friendly but also make sure the kids are learning and stay disciplined. They have various events going on outside of class and really treat you like family there.

I highly recommend AMAA! My son began his Taekwondo journey at just over four years old, and from day one, we could feel the dedication and passion of the masters, instructors, and leadership team. They create a safe and supportive environment that helps children grow into strong martial artists. Thanks to their guidance, my once-shy son has become more confident and resilient. It’s been amazing to witness his daily progress—he’s so eager to train, that he never wants to stop!

We absolutely love AMAA. My son has been going here for 5 years, and they have been incredible to boost his confidence and shape his future! Instructors and Masters are all great, very positive, encouraging and great sense of humor which makes the kids enjoy at the same time! Highly recommend this place to anyone serious about taekwondo!

AMAA has been so great for my 5.5 year old son . We have been here for almost a year and he has learned so much ! All the masters are wonderful and Jackie from the front desk always is helpful and greets with a smile and is very welcoming ! Highly recommend !
At this Academy my daughter has grown so very well with confidence, discipline, and respect. They have very high skilled instructors who do their best to teach the students and move them up every month and become better and better. I thank this academy for teaching her all these years and doing their best. My daughter is currently in Black Belt Club and Demo Team after 3 years.
Awesome place for young kids to learn discipline , respect , self control , independence as well as responsibility . Our grandson started when he was 4 & 1/2 & we’ve seen so much growth in him . He’s 6 & 1/2 now . He loves going to the classes even after being in school all day . Master & rest of instructors are excellent!
My daughter loves attending class here. Instructors are very friendly. With the hundreds of students that attend, they are very good at remembering names!
AMAA Naperville is a fantastic organization. My four year old thoroughly enjoys his instructors. They are engaging and fun! There are camps and activities outside class that is beneficial for kids to socialize together and get to know one another since there is no talking in class. The discipline, focus and respect taught is so great for these littles. Many other opportunities for personal and physical growth at this place.
My son Kayden Started 2 years ago and he looks forward to going to martial arts once a week. The instructors are amazing with the kids and they really work hard to instill discipline and confidence in the children.
If I could give 7 (stans suggestion) i would because we love it here!! Super fun and tons to learn and plenty of friends to be made. For me personally this is my second home and I'll never leave! MDK🎉🎉
So many wonderful things have happened since joining AMAA. Our kids are making friends, increased focus, and building self-esteem. It has been a delight to watch our children flourish and grow. At the American Martial Arts Academy, you'll learn the mixed martial arts of TaeKwonDo, from professionals and highly skilled instructors. All ages are welcome and have succeeded amazingly! My younger brother goes there and I love taking him to his practices. They are fun, energetic and engaging, which is great because they don’t even realize the hard work they are putting in. I’ve seen tremendous growth in him and it has been great to see the confidence boost he has gotten.
I can’t give enough praises to this place. My son started doing taekwondo here about a year ago and I cannot express how much he has changed for the better. You can see the progress he has made in his confidence both as a person and as an athlete. It is also a place where they get to grow from beginners to competitors all in the same place without needing to go to an outside club. The pricing is also very reasonable for how many practices they have a week and the different advanced clubs they offer for the kids based on their skills! They also offer so many other activities outside of practice like Family Night Outs, Birthday Parties, and more events where the kids get to socialize and make more friends! I recommend everyone gives this place an try and see the difference it will make in their children. Couldn’t be happier and would’ve left 100 stars if I could because it is not a club, it’s a family!
My son is in the tiny tigers program and the journey from day one to today has been amazing to see! The instructors really make this a fun experience for the kids (and parents). I have seen his confidence and attitude improve in the 6 months we have been here and look forward to seeing how he will grow this next year.
Love the classes, my son enjoys learning new forms and practice at home all the time. Instructors are always kind and friendly and really good teachers .
My two kids started back in April and the experience so far has been outstanding: seeing your child left insecurities behind and become more confident, respectful and responsible is priceless. The masters and instructors know exactly how to work with different personalities and transmit positivism to all the children. We feel very happy and proud to be part of the AMAA families.
My kids love coming to Martial Arts here at AMMA. The instructors are awesome and knows very well how to deal with the kids. It's been 3 years now and I wish to continue with them in future too.
My kids go here and instructor Nathan was really helpful. Me and my kids love this place. I think actions speak louder than words and I think instructor Nathan is the most honorable man I have ever known and I trust him with my most valuable possessions.
The Instructors are great and very patient with children. AMAA has a great developmental program for the kiddos as they hone in on focus, confidence, respect, and a plethora of other characteristics and skill sets.
Wonderful place to bring your kids and help them build discipline, confidence and respect. The staff is very friendly and classes well organized. The place is pristine, always able to find parking. More than a Taekwondo studio, they/we are a community.
The staff is extremely attentive and kind!! The kids all seem to be enjoying their time while learning and it brings me joy to see all the kids shout with joy and smile!
Incredible instructors who teach amazing life skills starting from a young age (3?). Continue to teach not only incredible Taekwondo skills but responsibility, respect, and dedication.
In the short time since we've started here, both of our sons have shown great improvement and focus. They are very motivated in their home and school life to continue with their training. The office staff and instructors are amazing!!! The kids receive a lot of attention and proper direction. Love everything about this place!!!! Come try it out and you'll see for yourself!
AMAA is the best marshal Art Academy. Instructors very patient, friendly and understanding. Front desk staff very good. I recommend them to anyone who is interested

My son goes here around a two years. and every day he enjoys it more and more. We noticed a lot of improvements in his behavior at home and at school. He started to be more focused and self-controlled. What We love here is that as serious the masters are with the kids at the same time they teach them in a playful way. They are strict with them but when they are too distracted they get serious! Love them for their hard work and patience! Definitely the second child will come here , too when the time arrives! I visited a Taekwondo gym in the U.S. The facilities were good, the exercise was systematically carried out, and the programs were diverse, so it looked good because it was a place where children could enjoy exercising.
I have 5yo kido going to AMAA naperville. And definitely recommend this place!
My kid has been improved focus and discipline. Also Master An is very friendly to our kid and teaching with his heart.
AMAA has been an awesome program for my son. We are extremely pleased with his growth and development. The staff and leadership are excellent. They are extremely personable, and have shown the ability to provide special attention to each student, as needed. My son remains motivated... aspires to become a black belt... and continues to enjoy each step in the process. I would highly recommend AMAA for the structure, discipline, confidence building, and physical exercise that is all wrapped around having fun. In addition, we were also thoroughly impresses with how AMAA handled the management of their facility and organization during the Covid Pandemic. The precautions taken with the students, and the level of cleanliness of the facility was second to none! Register today!
My son just started taking classes here a few weeks ago and he loves it already. Master Nathan does a great job keeping the kids engaged and adds fun into the class. My son is 5 so that approach is perfect for him. He likes practicing outside of class. He is learning skills for class and for life!

We are new to the Naperville area and my son was interested in trying martial arts. We tried AMAA through a back to school promo. We could not be happier with the martial arts education that is being provided. The master and instructors are great with younger kids and I believe that this first experience will foster long term enjoyment for those who attend this program.

AMAA provides a community environment with an enriching program for all ages that challenges each student, allowing them to grow to their full potential to become their very best. The Masters and Instructors work together as a team to encourage and motivate the students to be focused and to gain confidence. This studio teaches more than just Taekwondo. They teach values of Respect, Loyalty, Humility, Discipline, and Perseverance which become valuable life skills that each student learns to draw upon in the future.
This studio is very professional and not to mention extremely clean! Ive been sending my two daughters to this studio for years and they absolutely love it!
The staff there are always tentative to my needs and Master An and Master Jin are absolutely a delight.
They focus on all aspects for early child development.
My daughters have learned confidence, self discipline and not to mention are much more respectful around the house. Martial arts has changed their lives forever! And its all thanks to Master An and Jin.
The black belt program really caters to the competition side of TaeKwonDo and my children really enjoy traveling to the tournaments and gaining their medals. I really enjoy recording their journey as well. You should see the twinkle in their eyes when they win medals.
I would recommend this studio to everyone I meet! Absolutely a 10 out of 10 in my books.

This school is just GREAT. Let me tell you my experiences.
1. Kids really like it.
This is my daughter's second Tae Kwon Do school of her life. She transferred to AMAA when she was about to get the blue belt. Her feedback on AMAA on her first day was "Dad, this school is so fun, people are so friendly and polite, and most importantly, I can say they are doing a real martial art!!". Since her first day, she is always waiting for her Tae Kwon Do class more than any other her hobbies such as tennis or drum.
2. Kids are learning behavior
Since she started attending AMAA classes, every family members can notice that her behavior is changing. She was just a normal 9 ~ 10 year old girl. However, she starts thinking about other people, she starts control her anger, and she also starts follow her parents direction in the right way.
3. AMAA provides great role models to the kids
Not only are the high belt students great role models to young students, but also the masters are great people. In fact, Master Lee (the female master) is the main reason why I changed my daughter's Tae Kwon Do school. As I asked Master Lee to help my daughter grow up like a great person like her, I really want my daughter be as clever, brave, humble and respectful like her.
No matter what sports your kids are playing, just attend one demo class at AMAA. You will be very impressed. Strongly recommend!!
This is the best martial arts school. The masters and instructors are knowledgeable and passionate. They teach kicking and punching, but also, they teach life skills! I recommend 100% this school for those who haven’t started any martial arts or are looking for a place to learn.
My oldest son has been at this studio for 4.5 years and now my wife and youngest son have been going for a year and a half. They all love it. The Masters and assistant instructors help all students, no matter the skill level, develop confidence and strength while maintaining a safe and fun atmosphere. It is also a very competitive studio which we love. Would recommend to anyone!!
This place does an amazing job! It’s clean inside, instructors are nice, my son picked up extremely fast. I just did not appreciate the fact they said it was 2 weeks free and they advertised 2 weeks free and that wasn’t true… after lesson 4, during the first week, he says ok his trial ends today, how do you want to pay? I asked about the 2 week trial and he said no only 4 classes free. I don’t trust places that change policy suddenly, that means fees will change suddenly. If you advertise a commitment abide by it. That’s how you gain trust. Other than that they were great tbh.
