Instructors and classes are top notch. The combination of BJJ and Muay Thai/ kickboxing classes provided and price point is unbeatable.

Joining American Elite was one of the best decisions I've made in recent years. Everybody here is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to help you improve your jiu-jitsu at your own pace, and in your own manner. The quality of the instruction is top-notch, and the students have great attitudes. If you're on the fence about trying jiu-jitsu then you should stop by for the Sautday beginner's class for a low stress introduction. You won't regret it.

A school is only as strong as the relationships created and maintained by the instructors and the students. American Elite excels at both. Top tier MMA team and coach. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction & training at it's finest. I recommend this academy, with out reservation.

This location impressed me and made us feel at home from day one. TJ among other coaches are really attentive to new kids while still engaging the other students. Really impressed so far and can't wait to get more involved, to see the new location along with some new gis, classes and amenities offered. The things that stick out to me are the location, atmosphere, affordable price, amenities, shared vision, developing talent, positive attitudes, convient schedules, reinvestment of time and money by staff.

Great BJJ gym, great coaches, multiple BJJ black belts and upper belts to help if you have questions. There's also a bunch of amateur and professional fighters that train here which gives even more credit to this place and the coaching. Me and my family love this place!!

I enrolled my 4 year old daughter in American Elites BJJ kids class. She has taken 4 classes and loves it and looks forward to it. The instructors have been very welcoming and attentive to her from day 1. It's a laid back atmosphere were the kids learn basic respect and the great skill of jiu jitsu. It's impressive what these 4 and 5 year olds can do and the confidence they have. I would highly recommend this class to any parent whose child takes an interest in being a "ninja" the way my little girl does :)

TJ came down to The Woodlands, TX for the weekend to visit family and asked if he could come train with my school this weekend. Every single one of my members that met TJ and rolled with him loved him. They picked up so many techniques for their own game. TJ took the time to stop and educate. We were so excited and eladed we asked him to come to do a full weekend seminar with our members. True martial artist in every sense. He, his family, and his members are alway welcome at EnergyFIT Martial Arts in The Woodlands, TX.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Not only is the owner TJ an amazing coach he's a great person and mentor. The facility is top notch and has everything you could ever need to be successful in your training pursuits. It is the true epitome of a brotherhood however don't let that deter you being a female looking to train here because it as every bit as accommodating for you as well. My kids and I looked at a few other places and even trained at a few of them but American Elite felt like home the minute we walked in the door. Know that there is a fundamental difference in the training you will receive here. They teach you the real skills that you'll need to be successful in your pursuits whether it be to advance in BJJ or Muay Thai or to be versatile in all MMA. The conditioning you'll receive is amazing and you'll be training along side people at your level as well as seasoned black belts that truly care about your success. If your looking for a real MMA, BJJ, or Muay Thai school then I highly recommend checking them out! You won't be disappointed you did. I can't begin to explain the transformations I've seen within myself but more importantly my kids. They get on the computer less, the respect they've been showing to me and others has me grinning ear to ear. As a parent the results I've seen in such a short amount of time are amazing and I'm confident this will be a lifelong pursuit for us.

American Elite is a really amazing gym. Not only is the quality of instruction superior, but the general community it has created is welcoming and supportive. It is a safe place to learn and practice mixed martial arts and the workout is second to none!

If you are considering American Elite for training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, or mixed martial arts, I would encourage you to stop whatever you are doing and make room in your schedule to visit either (or both!) of the facilities -- you will not regret your decision. If you have never trained before, let me assure you that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will provide you with limitless opportunities to challenge yourself physically and mentally, and your coaches and teammates at American Elite will support you on your journey, whether your goal is to become the next World Champion or simply get in better shape. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu attracts a diverse array of people from all walks of life, and the mats at American Elite reflect the beauty of that diversity -- everyone is welcome here, so long as they are willing to leave their egos at the door. TJ Tomlin and his coaching staff are exceedingly knowledgeable practitioners and, just as importantly, they are very capable teachers who will foster your growth as both a martial artist and a human being. Speaking from experience, I can say that being a female in a male-dominated sport like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can have its challenges, but I have felt completely welcome at American Elite since the first day I started training here -- the mats are like a second home to me now, and my coaches and teammates have become a second family. Come join us!

American Elite is a fantastic facility! The Instructors are very knowledgeable and detail-oriented, which is very important to me. The gym is clean and well equipped with a large training floor, MMA Cage, and locker rooms. I would highly recommend this place for kids and/or adults.

I Joined American Elite and it's great! I cannot say enough good things about this gym. One of the first things I noticed is the amount of respect in the gym. The instructors and the other students introduce themselves and learn your name. From your very first session you feel welcomed. Whether you are a beginner or a long time martial artist, man or woman you will feel like you belong. There is such a wide range of people you are bound to make friends and learn. Everyone respects the gym itself. Things are put away after they are used and the gym is always clean! Just an all around good place to be. Lots of positive energy great instructors and classmates.

American Elite MMA feels like a second home to me! If you are looking to get into the best physical and mental shape of your life I challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone and give this gym a chance. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a beautiful martial art that challenges your body, mind, and soul. TJ Tomlin is an excellent instructor that provides detailed instruction and coaches you like a brother or sister every step of the way. Jiu Jitsu has helped me get into the shape that I thought was unreachable for me and inspires me to be a better person and live a healthier lifestyle. If you are ever in Edmond or Oklahoma period...this is the place for you!!

I have been training here at American Elite for almost a year now! The gym has everything you could ask for and more whether you want to be an MMA Fighter, get into better shape, or just learn self defense. The instructors are top notch, very knowledgeable and friendly. The students are very friendly themselves, helpful and encouraging to newcomers. The gym itself is kept very clean at all times. I love training here and don't plan on leaving!

My wife and I have been training here for a couple of years. We have had a great experience. The instruction is great and the facilities are great but what really makes the place are all the great people that train there. We have made some great friends. There is a high level of training here and people that train with us do well in MMA and BJJ competition. Would (and have) recommend American Elite to friends.

I've been training at American Elite for a little over a year, and I love it! The instructors are outstanding, the facility is nice (and CLEAN), and the students are very welcoming to new students. It's a very family-friendly gym, with classes for kids as young as three. There is a program just for women, as well as co-ed BJJ classes, MMA/kickboxing classes, kids classes and Fight Fit classes. Great instructors, high-quality classes, and a group of students that you'll actually enjoy training with -- at a price that would be tough to beat anywhere.
