Absolutely wonderful experience for our entire family! The instructors are kind, knowledgeable, and professional, and our kiddos have so much fun at every class. I have been so impressed by the culture of respect and encouragement, and I love watching the students' confidence grow as they learn new skills.

This is absolutely the best Marital Arts school I have ever been to. The instructors provide unparalleled insight into the arts that they teach. Both the adult and kid programs are phenomenal. If you want principled self-defense training in a wholesome family environment, you don’t need to look anywhere else; you have found the best.

Are you looking for the best martial arts class for your young person, or yourself? You need look no farther. American Defensive Arts Academy comes recommended by some of the top martial artists in the field. This school is well ran and well equipped. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. Your child will learn to both give and command respect, and to protect themselves when needed. Classes in Karate and Aikido are available for all ages. They are most highly recommended!👍👍👍

We highly recommend training aikido with Mr. Martinez and his highly experienced team. He provides a top tier training environment with a good balance of traditional aikido training, fun and discipline. There’s a family vibe within the group and his teachings will prove to be a valuable life experience.

My 2 daughters have been karate students at ADAA for many years since they were both very small. Both have learned great lessons in discipline, exercise, hard work and how to defend themselves. Their training has also boosted their confidence and their will to keep pressing forward. The trainers and leaders do an excellent job with their students, and they encouraged and inspired me to begin training in Aikido over 3 years ago. Overall experience- Excellent and I highly recommend anyone to join any of the numerous classes offered.

I have been an Aikido student for almost 7 years. Sensei Martinez not only has a deep knowledge of Martial Arts, he has continued to study it and keep in contact with the leaders of the Martial Arts world. He brings this to his class to share and develop and encourages his students think outside of his dojo as well.

Excellent Instructors, good learning environment, and good location. I've been in the Aikido class starting last year, and always enjoy the depth of knowledge and attention to detail by Martinez Sensei. The students vary in age and are fun to train with. I've also tried the karate and Folmar Sensei is great at teaching self defense.

I've studied Aikido at this school for about 3 years after moving to the area. I also study at another school in Dallas, and studied in Arkansas for about 12 years prior to moving. I find the instruction excellent. And, the attitude and interaction of both the teachers and students is second to none. Watching the kids class, I'm constantly impressed at how well Martinez Sensei works with the kids. Highly recommend.

I am a new student at the ADA Academy and my experience so far has been one of my best when it comes to learning a new martial art. The instructors are always kind, patient and helpful when working through any technique with me or any of the beginners and I hope to learn much, much more under them in the months and years to come.

My grandson is enrolled in Aikido at American Defensive Arts Academy. This class has truly benefitted this young man. He has learned self-discipline and to respect those in authority. Not only has he learned how to defend himself if necessary, but he has also learned how to de-escalate a conflict without the use of force. Moreover, he has gained self-confidence in himself when interacting with his peers.

This is a great school for kids but it's also a great school for adults. Our family started here with our kids, like most do and they loved the school and still attend. A few years back I wanted to start doing martial arts too and ADAA was and is the best fit for me. I'm older and not interested in competition, so I didn't think an MMA or jujitsu school would fit my goals. This school gives me great instruction at so many levels. I get good self-defense instruction and practice, I get the history and cultural perspective from the different martial arts and I get the development I want in a relaxed and friendly environment. If you always wanted to try martial arts but you think it's too late for you now, please give this school a try. I tied on my first black belt after age 50 and I look forward to every class.

Our children have been enrolled at ADAA for the past 5 years and I simply cannot say enough good things about them. The instructors are all fantastic and their energy and patience whilst teaching is amazing. I have witnessed both of my children exponentially grow in confidence with each belt advancement. Thank you ADAA!

I've had my kid in martial arts classes here for 2+ years now and he loves it. Karate has been great for my son's confidence and has helped him to be more focused and disciplined at school. I highly recommend ADAA.

My boys have been students at ADAA for 6 years now. I think that their experience at this dojo has been so important. With an emphasis on building character and self-defense, they have learned a great deal. They learn very quickly that every belt is earned in this school. We are fortunate to have our kids here!
