This place is the best, I love everyone there, my kids have so much fun, never complained to go there. James and all the staff are kind and professional and love the kids to learn. James and LisaMarie joined us at our Girl Scouts meet for a special self training event. We have a group of 16 kids with special needs and we’re not sure how this event would go. It went great!!!! They were so caring nurturing and took their time with each one of our girls. They were sensitive to their needs and our girls really loved this class. Parents were calling texting and emailing how happy they were with this event and with LisaMarie and James. I highly recommend ambition martial arts to anyone looking for some self defense classes/ martial arts classes. It’s always good for everyone to learn some self defense!!!

I love this place! I go there almost every day and I have been training for almost 2 years. All the coaches are so nice and help you through everything you are struggling with. They they teach you cool tricks and do fun give aways. I love that they do a womens self defence class, there is no men in the building .i go here with my whole family. I began attending class four days per week and five months later - I am still just as obsessed as the first day. I have been attending the kickboxing classes three times a week for nearly a year now. Over the year I have trimmed up, gotten stronger, and lost over 60 pounds. It has been an excellent time. The rotating instructors keep classes interesting fresh and different, so you never doing the same thing over and over again. I completely recommend the kickboxing classes to anyone looking to get fit or get back in shape.

This is a wonderful Dojo that tailors to a large variety of different learners and uses fun and engaging methods to implement proper techniques in a structured, yet relaxed atmosphere. My son started at 3 years old, and a bit over 2 years later, has grown and learned so much in all areas of development and skills! The staff is wonderful, and address family concerns and goals as well to create a welcoming environment for everyone! Never mind the adult classes are fun and challenging as well for both novice and seasoned students! They offer a variety of classes between Kickboxing, MMA and Jiu Jitsu and work wonderfully on technique, safe contact sparring and group as well as 1:1 classes! At 5 years old he has made it into advanced level classes and meeting every challenge thrown his way and loves going to class. He has yet to tell me he doesn't want to go which is a big thing for a little kid! He loves all of the coaches and we truly appreciate and love the dedication and care they give us and everyone in the dojo!

I must say this is the best thing we ever did for our boys. Our youngest started about 2 years ago and the team at Ambition taught him so much. We were having a lot of issues with him at school with being focused and behaving. The team is always very patient with him and taught him a lot. The past 2 yrs we have seen him grow so much, winning 2nd place in the tournament this year. Our 16yr old joined this year and they all been a wonderful positive role model for him. Our son started the Tigers program in July 2021 and goes several times a week. He has made so much progress in karate and now looks forward to going to his classes. We’ve seen such an improvement in his overall behavior and is truly learning that in order to succeed you must focus and work hard. We look forward to continuing our son’s karate journey with this dojo. Give James Noto a call and get enrolled … they also have an amazing program for adults! March 2024 Update: my son is now almost 7 and is in the advanced classes as a green belt. He just competed in his first MMA tournament and got in 3rd. We’re so proud of all that he has gained from AMA. He is more confident, he stands up for himself, and his focus and determination is remarkable. He gets a well-rounded and martial arts and jiujitsu. Not to mention all of the great friendships he has made!

My son is on the spectrum and (for the most part) does not do well in loud, crowded areas. Ambition Martial Arts showed no concern and dove right in with my son. He is currently taking private lessons with Ms. Dias who is incredible with my son! She is teaching him the basics and encouraging him all while having fun. We also go to Saturday morning classes for kids and parents and it’s so much fun! The confidence that my son is already showing tells me how much this will help him in life. Ambition martial arts is the best thing that has happened to my son. The experience has been amazing. When my son first started I was nervous that the other kids who are more advanced would take advantage of the new kid but it was the total opposite. The other kids took their time with teaching and showing him techniques, it wasn’t about them beating him. The instructors are amazing as well. They give each child the attention they need and make them very comfortable. They are very supportive not only with in class skills but they encourage them to be better little adults outside the class. 10/10

My experience at Ambition Martial Arts is of teaching and training and I must say that both are equally amazing. The atmosphere in the dojo is vibrant, clean and well-organized. The staff are not overconfident with their knowledge of martial arts. This is the perfect place for beginners and advanced practitioners. My son and I absolutely love Ambition Martial Arts! I searched around before commiting to a particular dojo and completely fell in love with this friendly and structured atmosphere. The owner is especially focused on making the parents and children feel like a part of a community, by including events that involve parents, as well as child care (camp style) classes for holidays and days that regular school is closed. I really can't say enough nice things about the staff as well, they are so incredibly good with the kids and teach with such patience and kind enthusiasm. The children are so eager to listen and focus, as their instructors make the class fun, in addition to instilling strict lessons and routines. I also really like that they allow their older students to sometimes help out and instruct the class along side them, I believe that teaches fundamental values to both the older and younger children about being on opposite sides of the mat. When my son first started, he was so shy and he lacked the confidence to participate in sports and other activities; but ever since he started going to Ambition, I can see so much change in how he asserts himself and he has completely come out of his shell. He is so genuinely happy and confident in himself, to me that is priceless.

We signed our son up for Ambition after he was getting bullied at school and they weren’t addressing it. We thought we would just do a few classes and that would be it. Almost a year later, we’re taking 3 classes a week and couldn’t have found a better place. Not only are the instructors top notch, the school is truly a family environment and James and his team are always asking how they can help to improve both our son and their business. We absolutely love Ambition! Our favorite thing is how it feels like 1 big family. It doesn't feel like my kids are just any other kids there, they really take the time to get to know the children and the parents and make you feel part of this community. My kids have been here since the end of December and get better with every practice. ALL the staff members are great. They have options for parents as well such as kickboxing and jiu jitsu so there is something for the whole family to enjoy. I actually joined the adult kickboxing and jiu-jitsu as well and I love it. This is a wonderful place and the instructors are some of the best I’ve ever met. I’ve been training in different martial arts for almost a decade and the type of care and dedication they have is extremely rare. So much thought is put into all the classes. My younger brother took classes and it was an amazing outlet for all of his energy. He was treated great and definitely learned a lot not only about martial arts but about respect, care, and dedication. Highly recommend for children and adults.

This is an amazing dojo for the kids. All of the coaches teach with tremendous care and attention. You can tell they want to succeed in helping our children grow to be responsible, respectful and have the ability to stand up for them selves. I would highly recommend checking out Ambition Martial Arts!

Updating my review from (2) years ago, although my sentiments are still the same. I can’t say enough about Ambition Martial Arts. What Professor Noto and his staff are teaching are lessons for in and out of the gym; Self-confidence, growth, self-control, etc. What started as an activity for my (then) 8 year old, has turned into my whole familys "happy place"; my husband, 3 kids and I all attend classes. They are fun, strict (without being scary/over the top) and teach kids to stand up for themselves while having fun. The staff is excellent with children and the adult classes are intense without being intimidating. What's more, it's a smaller, privately owned place where everybody knows your name and your encouraged and treated like family, not just a number.

My son has been a member of ambition for over a year now. In that time, he’s grown so much and learned so much discipline and what hard work you have to put in to get what you want! Professor Noto, Ms Dias, Ms Rachel, Mr Hahn and rest of the ambition crew are unbelievable. They want to see the kids succeed and I love that participation trophies aren’t just handed to the kids. They have to put in the work! Professor Noto is patient, team oriented, and driven to make the most out of the kids time there - my son definitely looks up to him as a mentor! I wouldn’t want my son going anywhere else. This small business is where it’s at. Definitely a family vibe there! My son Chase has worked his way up from a white belt last January to a blue belt just this past weekend. He has the greatest time there training along with all the fun events they run. 5 stars aren’t enough!!!

My five year old son has been enrolled for almost a year now and it is one of the best decisions I’ve made for him. It’s not just about the Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing techniques that are being taught, he has taken home many valuable life lessons. They inspire these kids to work hard and everything is earned in this dojo. The days my son has came home with out that stripe or belt promotion has really shaped his focus and attention for the better. And when it came time to promote him to his orange belt, which he couldn’t attend the full graduation ceremony because he was sick, they stopped both his 4-6 year old class and the advanced juniors class to give him a proper promotion and applause. And they don’t leave the parents out to dry either. They routinely run events through out the year to not only teach the kids, but to instruct the parents on how to help there kids be successful in the martial arts and in life. And lastly, they’re not shy to criticism, they’re always looking for feedback from parents to help them improve upon there classes. I don’t live next door, I drive 15-20 minutes to get here, passing multiple karate schools, because this is the best place around. Thanks Mr. Noto, Mr. Hahn (not Juan), Ms. Rachael, Ms. Dias and the rest of the instructors for always working hard for the kids.

Absolutely thrilled to have found James Noto and all the awesome coaches at Ambition Martial Arts. What started as a fun summer activity, quickly became a health and fitness lifestyle. My child trains 2 to 3 times a week at the dojo, does exercises at home most days to support learning martial arts, and even keeps his room clean now! If that wasn't enough, there are fun activities happening often for both my kids to enjoy. A+!

I have both my grandsons attending Ambition Martial Arts studio. The classes are motivating and teaches the children self-defense, caring for others, to make better choices, to do their best at whatever they choose to do, It truly brings the best out of the children not only my grandchildren, but I see it in all the other kids that have been attending as well. The staff is very invested in each of the children. They work alongside the kids and are extremely motivating. The children work very hard and yet they have a lot of fun during their sessions. The saying it takes village to raise children…. Well I am extremely happy that I have Professor Noto and the staff in my village.

It's very hard to find a place for a toddler that has a good combination of structure, education and fun, but Ambition has it all and I am so glad we joined the family there! We joined on a whim unsure of how a 3 year old would respond to the classes but he is happy, engaged, learning a great deal and begs me to go back each day! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient and have a wonderful pace that addresses each individual child's needs so they can learn at their pace and comfort level. Yet they are also constantly challenged and building up their knowledge and skills each time. They focus on fun ways to deliver the techniques and introduce moves and build the kid's skill set and they are also using the proper terminology with them,, which is important regardless of their age! My son has made amazing progress and is able to keep up with kids twice his age and is begging to go every day if I would let him. I Cannot recommend this place enough!

Sensei James noto and staff at ambition martial arts are phenomenal from their excellent communication with parents to teaching the kids and having them constantly on there toes. I highly recommend this dojo to anyone wanting the best turnout for their children. When my daughter is there and she is sparring she goes hard no matter what size the kid is and the staff highly encourages her awesome atmosphere.

My daughter started at Ambition Martial Arts in Summer of 2020, we were looking for a place to keep her moving after being stuck inside for so long due to Covid. What she got, what we all got, was so much more than just a place to keep her moving. James and his staff taught her so much, she's learning self defense, boxing, jujitsu and great everyday life lessons. Most importantly she's gained self confidence and learned moving up takes hard work, nothing is handed to you! And then I decided to check out his adult kickboxing class and not surprising to say hands down, best kickboxing classes I've ever gone to! I'm learning proper technique and getting an amazing workout as well. Give Ambition a try, your children or yourself will gain so much more, you're joining a Family!

My 4 year old daughter thoroughly enjoys martial arts and loves her instructor Professor Noto! She sees him as a role model and he teaches her to be her own leader and role model to others. The individual attention each child gets cannot be compared to any other martial arts studio. My daughter received a free week which allowed us the opportunity to see if martial arts was something she would enjoy. She never looked back and now attends 3 days a week. As a parent and teacher myself, I would recommend ambition martial arts to anyone who wants an extracurricular activity that is a combination of fun, fitness, and discipline. Professor James Noto and his family friendly martial arts and fitness center can’t be beat! ❤️ *update* now my daughter is 6, and taking private classes! We contacted a few martial arts studios for private small group self defense training for our daughter and her friend. James responded quickly and scheduled training for six of us immediately. The girls learned many techniques in a short period of time, gained confidence, are more aware of their surroundings, and how to protect themselves. Not only did the girls have fun the parents joined in and had a good time. I highly recommend James and his team.

My experience at Ambition Martial Arts has been amazing. It is a place you can learn real martial arts in a safe and friendly environment. Professor Noto is both knowledgeable and kind. He sets a good example for his students. The price is also great compared to other schools in the area. This school isn’t a money grab where you are up charged for every little thing. The students also have a learning and teaching mentally. You do not have to worry getting hurt because you are the new person. All the students take their time to help each other learn and grow. My daughter has been attending classes since September. She able to attend up to 3 virtual/in person classes per week for 40 dollars. She has fun and is learning how to defend herself. They play games as well as learn self defense. I also appreciate the owner’s flexibility when it is needed. This is a good use of money and time!
