My son (9y.old) attends this gym and he absolutely loves it. They are not only very involved with the kids but also with the parents. This has been a very good sport physically and mentally. We love his Coach Julian and assistant Josephine. They work together very well together and make the kids feel confident in themselves. They deserve 10 stars !
Alpha Miami Grappling South has been an amazing experience for our family! We've been attending for two months, and Coach Julian and Josephine have been nothing but welcoming and supportive. I’ve always wanted to put my kids in martial arts but was hesitant because I don’t know if the instructor would know how to interact well with them (my youngest is a ball of energy and has had trouble staying focused in the past). I took a chance with these jiu jitsu classes and I’m glad I did. Julian is great with the kids and they all seem to enjoy it.

I couldn’t be happier with the team at AMG, I enrolled my son into their training program for jiu jitsu and I can’t believe how much he has learned in so little time. The atmosphere is very welcoming for me as a parent and the layout is great because we can be up close to see them practice and learn. over all my take is if you have a child any age that wants to learn jiu jitsu or you as an adult need a place to be able to train I’d say give AMG south a shot I know I do not regret it.

This is a great academy. My son has changed drastically since he joined AMG. The coaches are amazing with the kids and teach the fundamentals of grappling. It is a big family where they teach each other.

Coach Julian and the Alpha Miami South team are a branch of the #1 Jiu-jitsu and Grappling academy in the world. Alpha Miami produces champions and is a first class facility with state of the art equipment. The mats are pristine and always well maintained..it was an honor to train here.
The instruction at Alpha Miami Grappling (AMG) is second to none! So it was exciting to see that there is another location with AMG South. My 10 year old has trained with the team for quite a bit and has continued to see improvements. They also do a great job with adults, as I have trained for years at several academies and this would be my #1. I also love the adults and children that train here, as there is so much respect and friendship. I love this place!
Julian is a great coach who brings knowledge from his BJJ and wrestling background to help our kids grow within the sport. He has always demonstrated hard work and excellent character, and these traits are reflected in the way he runs his business.
