Coach Fernando is an outstanding instructor and Jiu Jitsu practitioner. Understands that there is a way to teach all different people and caters to their needs as best as possible to get the best Jiu Jitsu out of them. Alpha Jiu Jitsu Richmond is a supportive, professional and safe environment to learn Jiu Jitsu. Highly recommend this for anyone starting their Jiu Jitsu Journey

Great gym for all levels, Fernando is an amazing coach, very patient and explains everything in thorough detail easy to understand. Both me and my son love coming and would recommend it to anyone!

Alpha Jiu-Jitsu is an incredible place to train! Professor Xavier is a top-tier instructor—knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and truly invested in his students’ progress. The gym has a welcoming yet disciplined atmosphere, with a supportive team that pushes each other to improve. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, this is the place to sharpen your skills. Alpha is great for my child, it’s giving her inner confidence and the ability to defend herself should the situation arise. She really loves attending Alpha Jiu Jitsu Academy and all that staff are amazing! Thank you Alpha!!

Absolutely the best place for Jiu Jitsu in the region. The coaches are patient and encouraging, the boys absolutely love it there. Massive props to Fernando especially, we actually left a Gracie Barra because we heard he was so good with the kids and he makes the classes an absolute delight to the gang. If you’re in Richmond or the surrounds, it’s a great place to get your kids involved in a beautiful art with a fantastic bunch of people. Guarantee they’ll make friends and also learn how to choke someone out safely, a skill that David Carradine and Michael Hutchence could probably have benefited from learning.
