My son has been attending classes for two years and has had a very positive experience. Both masters are great with kids. We recently had our son's 6th birthday here and it was wonderful. Very organized, and everyone had a great time. We can't say enough good things about AMA!
After living in Wilmette for almost 7 years, a friend of ours introduced us to Agbon and we have our 7 year old enrolled there. He absolutely loves the masters and always looks forward to class. We also just threw our son's 7th birthday party there and Master Mary Ann and Master Fernando were able to keep 25, 6-7 year old boys/girls entertained for 1.5 hours. One of the most unique birthdays and also had our sheet cake cut with a sword. Highlight of the party!
A+ martial arts facility for children. Master Fernando and Master Mary Ann are exceptional in so many ways. Most importantly, they are great with kid's. They provide superior instruction while including fun elements into the programs too. My 3 kid's love going, and I would recommend them to anyone considering enrolling their child into a taekwondo program.
I have been a student for 11 years (which should explain how much I’ve enjoyed the instructors and their teaching style). I’ve made so many friends of all different ages along the way, which makes Taekwondo even more fun! We work on forms, board breaking, and others cool things. At the end of each class though, we do get to have some fun! Also, even if you’re a parent interested in signing up, do it! You’ll learn more than you’ll think.
Our daughter loves AMA and looks forward to her classes there, she has been with them for almost 3 years. Master Fernando and Master Mary Ann are great in motivating the kids and making them fit and flexible while having fun. There is a great sense of community there that we love being part of. Give AMA a try and see for yourself how awesome it is!
This school is wonderful, very family oriented and the teachers are top not :) I've been there for just over a month and love it there :) I highly recommend this school if your interested in taking martial arts classes :)
Great place for kids martial arts!!! The studio is so clean, bright and inviting. Masters are awesome, my boys love Master Fernando and Master Mary Ann. They do Birthday parties as well, I had my son's birthday here and everybody had a BLAST!!!
