  I went to Affinity while I was visiting Calgary. The instructors were wonderful, and the other students were welcoming, and great to train with. As a woman, it can be very intimidating going to a martial arts gym, but I would absolutely recommend Affinity to any woman that would like to give BJJ, or kickboxing, a try. I can't say enough good things about them.

  I first had the pleasure of meeting and training with Andell years ago in Ontario at my home club. I am visiting Calgary for a short time for school. My coach suggested I visit Affinity while here. Andell has gone the extra mile to allow me to continue my training at both his locations. Absolutely wonderful training atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I feel at home right away and am looking forward to taking advantage of the coaches and teammates while here! Thank you Andell for your hospitality.

  Absolutely the best martial arts school I have ever attended. The coaches are personable and willing to go the extra mile. They are fantastic with both kids and adults. My entire family will be enrolling in their conveniently timed classes, which are perfectly located for us in the NW area. They truly go above and beyond in terms of cost fairness. Thank you, Affinity team, and please don't change.

  This is the best bjj gym in Calgary hands down! The coaches and the staff were very helpful and the environment was very welcoming! I recommend Affinity to all my friends and family as it is truly the best! Thank you Affinity for being so hands on and welcoming!

  Our 9 year old son has been attending Affinity for over 3 years and we could not be happier with the results! The coaches are completely invested in their students and strive to ensure each student reaches their full potential. The best part for me as a parent has been watching my shy, apprehensive son turn into a confident, self-assured and assertive child. His whole demeanour has changed for the better and I truly can't thank his coaches enough, especially Coach Jack! If you are looking for a martial arts program for your child, look no further! You will be treated like family here and will watch your child grow in so many ways. I also took part in the women's self-defence class with Coach Z and ladies, she is AMAZING! They also have a women's only class which I absolutely love! Thank you to everyone at Affinity for working so hard - you guys are the best and your dedication to the sport is beyond admirable.
