I can’t say enough great things about the coaches and athletes at Acclimate. The coaches, Sheldon and Gord, are very knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. The other athletes are very supportive, help one another to succeed, and are always willing to help you learn. The facility is great and has awesome amenities and welcoming front desk staff. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get into the sport or established athletes looking for a new gym.

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Acclimate. It’s rare to find a team that balances intense training with such a supportive, ego-free environment. Everyone looks out for one another on the mats, which makes it a safe and productive place to learn. And with my abnormal work schedule it still works out. Sheldon and Gordon are awesome, Proud to be part of this team!

Coming into the gym with little to no experience with grappling, it has been awesome to learn and work with the acclimate team. Sheldon and Gord are both excellent instructors with a wealth of knowledge to learn from. The rest of the team is also very friendly and skilled, great group of people!

Dropped in while visiting Cranbrook and had an awesome time. The place is clean, and everyone was friendly. I was nervous since I’m just a white belt and hadn’t trained in months, but the coaches and students made me feel welcome. The rolls were intense in a good way but always safe. Definitely a spot I’d come back to next time I’m in town.

I dropped in to a few classes while I was in the area on holidays, and was extremely impressed with the entire experience. I have been training a few years and have visited several gyms throughout my travels and this was one of the best. The instructors were very welcoming and friendly, and highly skilled. Even though I wasn't a regular member, they still took time to help me out and provide coaching. All of the regular members I rolled with were great as well, I was impressed with the overall skill level. No one had an ego, they were all good training partners. The mats were clean, and Fitness Inc, (the gym Acclimate is located within) was a nice facility too, the $20 drop-in fee also includes access to the weight room area and showers, great deal. I would definitely recommend Acclimate to anyone passing through Cranbrook or locals looking for a gym.
