Highly recommend 5th Wave BJJ Morayfield. The instructors are awesome and highly skilled, and the training partners are great. If I’m not learning directly from the coaches, the higher belts are always happy to share tips and help out. The mats are always clean, the facilities are excellent, and you always feel welcome.
Have gone to other places for bjj when moving houses and traveling etc, and have never experienced a place like this, They really want to help and see you improve. Love it, great training nice people and great envrionment, Great coaches Teylore, Brian and Mick are really good. Wish I could give it more stars. To anyone starting out or already experienced, This place is the go. Wish I found it sooner!
I have been searching for a jiujitsu home for so long a place where the jiujitsu is high level, no politics, community feel and can nerd out on jiujitsu. And finally found it at 5th wave. The coaching between Teylore and Brian is absolutely incredible so many years experience and it shows and Demi constantly goes above and beyond to ensure the place is running as well as it does she’s always so friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Would highly recommend this place.
5th Wave BJJ & MMA is an awesome gym with a welcoming, supportive atmosphere. The coaches are knowledgeable and genuinely care about your progress, no matter your experience level. Great training, great people, and a strong sense of community. Highly recommend!
We can’t speak highly enough of 5th Wave Jiu Jitsu Morayfield. Both my son and daughter train here five days a week and it’s easily become a second home for our family. From day one the team has been incredibly supportive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the kids. The environment is awesome — the coaches, the children, and even the adult members create such a positive vibe. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and included, and it really feels like a community. Highly recommend to any family looking for a great place to train.
Amazing, travelled from the NT to the bjj camp in the holidays and was the best thing we have ever done training wise, the coaches were probably some of the best in Australia, my boy joined in a few other classes while we were there and everyone embraced us with open arms. The coaches were all fantastic at breaking things down and explaining techniques, the owners are amazing people more than happy to share there time and knowledge with us. we couldn't be more grateful. If we lived in qld this is the only spot i would send my kids to train.
