This gym is absolutely top-notch! The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly dedicated to helping everyone improve, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner. The owners are incredibly passionate about Jiu-Jitsu and have created a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all ages.
Jiu-Jitsu is an amazing way to build confidence, improve fitness, and learn self-defense, and this gym makes it accessible to everyone. The classes are well-structured, and the atmosphere is always positive and encouraging. If you’re looking for a place to train with great people and high-quality instruction, this is the gym for you! Highly recommend!!!
one of the best gyms Ive ever been to, Im very happy that i joined and thank you coach Gray for taking me in, and thanks to all the coaches and the students , found my happy home here :)
Love this place, love the coaches. They not only focus on the physical aspects but also on character virtues. Really awesome holistic approach. Highly recommend for children of all ages.
I had a great experience at 360 Jiu Jitsu and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Gym was very clean and mats are always spotless. Been trying a few gyms out to find the right place and gotta say that the mats are awesome. Felt great on this old man’s joints. Coach Gray and crew are great at breaking it down and truly have a passion for teaching. Mats are always full and you’ll always have a partner to roll with. If you stay in GP you owe it to yourself to check it out.
If I wasn’t going here for Jiu Jitsu, I probably wouldn’t be going anywhere for Jiu Jitsu. The culture is absolutely incredible, everything is super chill, they teach in a way that’s perfect for me, and there are no less than 7 women minimum at any given time. 🙌🏼
Coach Gray and Coah Nikki really care about their students. They teach the importance of being balanced both physically and mentally. I truly enjoy the lessons they provide about defense, good sportsmanship, and being respectful and responsible. All the coaches welcome all and have much to share. Great job!
Family is the word used by Professor Gray(he refers to himself as Coach Gray because he’s humble like that)who owns and runs 360 JiuJitsu to describe the culture there. If you want to hop on the mats at 360, he asks that you are cognitive that it’s FAMILY there. Gotta love that as a newcomer ya know? I did. He’s learned JiuJitsu AND Wrestling from some of the BEST to have ever done or taught it. Coach Eddie Villanueva is hidden gem in a place like 360. His ability to SEE my teenagers JiuJitsu and just tweak and advise him with his experience and knowledge as a Black Belt 🥋 has been pretty phenomenal to be straightforward. Professor Gray, Coach Eddie and a few other Black Belt’s regularly/consistently are ON THE MAT’s w students rolling and teaching. Kid, Teenager, Adults of all ages train HARD & CONSISTENTLY here. All levels. You’ll find a training partner here to suit your needs no matter your goals, without a doubt. Same faces, regulars, and a newbie every once and a while…..but I can see everyone getting better….literally. Do yourself a favor if you’re in Grand Prairie/South Arlington area and go visit Professor Gray at 360 and just have a convo w him. Ya won’t regret it.
Great gym with great people that care about your personal journey and goals! I’ve been training here consistently for almost a year now and I have loved the experience! Everyone is focused on growing and helping others be able to learn too. We have 5-6 black belts that regularly train with us and yet nobody is too big of a super star, that they aren’t approachable. There is a schedule of 2 weeks training in GI, then 2 weeks training without GI for continuity and all encompassing training.
Owner and Professor, Casey Gray, is so humble and always teaches with examples and recalls information from previous lessons to ensure that students are always conscious of multiple things while training. Techniques are pulled from various schools of thought and have been tested in action to ensure the teaching of the technique is details and effective. Great environment for women alike. The gym does participate in local competitions, but it’s optional based on the individual. Competition specific classes are held in preparation for each competition the gym will be represented at. Vast amount of wisdom inside this gym, and we love to have new people join us.
Not enough great things to say about this group! Casey is an amazing coach with a real passion for the sport and facilitates growth confidence through discipline and respect. If you're in Grand Prairie and looking to train, this is the place!

I am very pleased with 360 BJJ! My kid’s confidence is now through the roof. The staff is very good and you can tell they not only have a passion for BJJ, but also love working with kids. No regrets!

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. All classes consist of a lot of students, which gives you a lot of people to train with and learn from as well. Great place to train at no matter if if you are just beginning or if you have been training for years!
Great place to train for children and adults. The instructors are accommodating to all levels and take pride and teach the children not only Jiu-Jitsu moves, self defense (kickboxing for women) but also discipline and respect. Highly recommend!
Great coaches and great staff. My son has learned alot and i can honestly say this sport has boosted his self esteem into another level. Great awesome job 360...
Coach Gray and his staff are top notch. My husband and three sons train here and absolutely love it. There are other academies closer to where we live, but they drive a little further to train with Coach Gray and his staff.
My daughter Emi just hit her 1yr anniversary with 360 Jiu Jitsu. She had no training before she started attending. I am very impressed with how much she's learned and how far she's come in 1 yr.
Not only has she learned very important techniques, but her confidence and self esteem has shot through the roof!
I cannot express how grateful I am for the hard work and dedication coaches Gray, Hayden, Nicki, and Katie show to not just my child, but every child and adult that walks through the doors to train. I couldn't ask for a better place for Emi to learn and train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Here's to many more years of her training! OSS!
Casey Gray has an awesome team at 360. I got to go over there and train a few time and am always impressed with the great environment and technical students he has. His kids program is top notch too. As a jiu jitsu coach myself I can highly recommend training with Casey in Grand Prarie.
My 11-year-old son has been training here for 3 years. The coaches terrific instructors, mentors, and role models. They have a remarkable, extensive, and vast knowledge of jujitsu (and adjacent fields of martial arts). In addition, the entire team truly cares about the children and work amazingly well with them. They treat the students as individuals and take the time to get to know their unique traits and, when needed, the coaches do not shy away from redirecting kids’ behavior as is sometimes necessary to keep them on track.
In addition to the regular classes for the jujitsu students, the 360 Academy also offers after school care for the Academy’s students, as well as non-students, and camps during times when school is out of session (summer, spring, and winter breaks, etc.). As a working parent, I find these programs to be amenities that provide benefits beyond measure.
Overall, the practice of jujitsu combined with the encouragement and guidance of the Coaches has positively influenced my son’s growth and development. As he continues to grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually, I am pleased and honored to have the coaches and staff at 360 Academy be part of his development.
I've been very impressed with the way my son Gray has developed in skill at 360 Jiu Jitsu in such a short period of time! It will be 2 years this August. He has not only matured, he has enjoyed every single minute that he has put in! Coach Gray, Coach Griffin, students, friends and 360 staff has done a tremendous job in helping each other in every way to make this experience such an awesome one! I encourage anyone in the area that has been wanting to try out BJJ to stop by and try this academy out! It will be life changing!
One of the best investments I have every made. My son Zane has been with this academy since it began. Now 13, he trains 4-5 classes per week including some adult classes. I am so grateful to the instructors for helping me develop him into such a confident, motivated and disciplined person. THANK YOU 360 JIU JITSU.
Fantastic group of people. Clean school. High level bjj and very friendly towards beginners. Really solid program for children and instructors are professional and motivated. You really can't go wrong with this place.
I have been training here for about 3 years and I love it. My partners and I are constantly challenging and helping each other to better our jujutsu. Casey Gray and Jimi Griffin are great coaches and very patient with us.
Great instructors!!! Great facility!!! And great Jiu-Jitsu!!! The gym is very nice, well put together, well maintained and cleaned. (I have visited some gyms that these were not the case). The staff is surprisingly nice and professional even above what I was expecting. I come from a background of martial arts and coach Gray and coach Griffin have earned my respect from day one. I think that the thing that catches my attention the most is how friendly, patient and professional the instructors are. They are awesome; Therefore, and since I have been practicing there for several months, I can easily recommend this gym to anyone who wants to learn jiu-jitsu and is up to do it with respect in the mat and in a friendly environment.
Started training there 2 months ago. By far, the BEST place I've ever trained. The staff in incredibly friendly and will accommodate any level of experience! If you are in the area, do not look any further!!! THE BEST!
I joined RCJ Machado about 6 months ago after a fair amount of time in the martial arts scene with 2 years of MMA and about 6 years of Tae-Kwon-Do under my belt. Since I have joined I have had numerous competitions in which I placed 1st 4 times and 2nd once. While there is not specific competition program, their master's class might as well be one.
It is an excellent school with friendly and helpful staff and a roster that just continues to grow. I can't think of any other place that I would rather train.
I have only been with the academy for a few weeks but right from the begining the entire class was friendly, welcoming and helpful. I have never taken any form of martial arts but I was looking for a challege and that's exactly what i got. The instructor teaches the class in a way that is easy to understand and execute. Even for someone who still doesn't know how to tie his belt. So if your looking for a work out outside of the gym check it out. I will be the guy in the back trying to fix his belt.
The reason I started going to RCJ Machado is because of my nephew. My nephew really wanted his Dad to join, but he didn’t want to do it unless somebody else went too. We joined about 6 months ago and love it. I’m learning some really cool things and getting in better shape because of it. Mr. Griffin and Mr. Gray are 2 of the coolest guys to train with. If you’re interested in doing Jiu Jitsu or Kick boxing RCJ Machado is the place to do it.
Can not go wrong with Machado Jiu Jitsu GP, they really stick by their motto "Leave your ego at the door" everyone has this close bond, and the place is very welcoming. Instructor Casey Gray is as good as they come, his knowledge of jiu-jitsu has changed my life for the better. Great instruction and training. Whether your competing, or maybe using it as self-defense,exercise or just have a passion for martial arts in general. This place is truly for everybody, does't matter if you have experience, Instructors Casey Gray and Jimi Griffin really teach all technical aspects of the game, cater to everyones needs.
I have both of my kids in the Acadamey one boy 6 years old and a girl 10 years old they love it . They have both learn more than the training that is taught mon-thru and Sat. my kids have learn skills that they would not learn in school. The main thing they learn is how to interact with other kids physically and socially as in school they do not want to come in contact with other kids and are always told to be quiet. My kids have gained alot of confidence to many of the physical challenges that are not given in school . They have taken all the qualities that the coaches have given them and expect of them to use in everyday life and have taken them to heart by using them at school at home and in walks of everyday life. My daughter had quit for a week and a hlaf and said she missed it and has come back 110 % even more determined to take on the challenges .All 3 coaches are awesome and take their time in teaching each student until they fully understand what he or she should be doing . Im a former Marine and would recommened this Academy to anyones child to come and join to learn great jujistu skills and also good qualities that a young individual should learn and not get bullied. Semper Fi.
I have been training at RCJ Machado Grand Prairie since October of 2012. Overall the class is excellent. Mr Gray and Mr Griffin are very helpful at instructing students, and whether you are looking to train, to compete, for self defense, or just trying to get a good work out, RCJ Grand Prairie is the place to be!
My son Caleb and I have been going to RCJ Machado Grand Prairie for about 5 months now, and we really enjoy it. I wanted to put him in something where he could learn to defend himself and become more confident, Mr. Grey and Mr. Griffin are doing a great job with this. Teaching kids can’t be easy, especially mine with his short attention span, but they do a great job and are very patient with the all the kids.
I wasn’t too sure about joining, but my son wanted me to do it. It looked like a lot of fun and I needed to start getting some kind of exercise in, and I’m not a fan of going to the gym. With Jiu Jitsu it’s almost like a full body work out having to use your arms, legs, and abs and with all the moving around you do. It’s a great place to train and a great group of people to train with.
RCJ 4 Life
I've been with machado jiu jitsu for about 4 to 5 months now and ive got to say its an awesome place to learn jiu jitsu and a good way to make new friends
I recently joined the rcj machado family and have loved every moment of it. Since the first day I went to try out the class, I knew it was something I could continue for a long time. Mr. Gray and Mr. Griffin are very patient with the students and help each one improve their jiujitsu skills. I was lucky to come across this martial arts. I have learned various techniques for self defense and have been able to get a great work out as well! I love everything about this school. I thank them for allowing me to dedicate myself to a sport I love. The jiujitsu classes offered by these two coaches are AMAZING.
I have a martial arts family (i.e. the kids and I have advanced belts in various martial arts). We always search for a long time to find the perfect school. This school has a great facility that is always clean. I don't have to worry about the kids catching staph. The instructors are really positive and patient with beginners. The classes are conducive for kids, women, and men. My entire family is always eager for class each day.
I'm glad we checked out RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu in Grand Prairie after seeing a flier in the mail! The entire family enrolled a few months ago, and everyone LOVES it: my 4-year-old girl, my 6-year-old boy, my 13-year-old nephew, and my thirty-something-year-old wife...yes, she said I could post that :)The class schedule can easily accommodate anyone's busy schedule. They offer beginners and masters classes (both adults and kids) from Monday through Thursday and masters classes on Saturdays. They even offer private lessons on Fridays if you want to brush up on the techniques learned throughout the week. Considering the quality of the instruction from Mr. Gray and Mr. Griffin, flexible schedule, positive reinforcement, constant encouragement, and family atmosphere, you definitely get a lot out of enrolling here.
I moved to DFW in June from Orange County and was recommended this school by my old instructor because of the reputation the Machado family have in the BJJ world. Since June, I've seen the classes expand as well as the expansion of the facility to suit their students.
Class Schedule - They have 4 beginner's classes and 4 Master's classes each week, which give you plenty of flexibility to catch at least 2 classes a week. 6:30pm-7:30pm and 7:30pm-8:30pm Monday-Thursday.
Class agenda - 10 mins of warmups, 20-30 minutes of new techniques/recap on old techniques, 10-15 minutes of rolling using new techniques, 10-15 mins of free rolling.
Class size - Varies between 10-25 people in each class.
Skill Level - beginner's class has majority white belts and a few blue belts. Master's class has white belts on up.
Price - Very affordable. Compared to other schools of the same caliber, you're getting a lot for what you pay here. You might even get a free Gi too!
Pros - Focuses on technique, very structured instruction, new techniques build off of what you learned in the previous class, and NO MEAT HEADS. So if you're looking to learn true BJJ techniques to compete, to defend yourself, or for the exercise, you won't have to worry about anyone bullying you there while you learn. Mr. Gray, the head instructor, is very knowledgeable and makes sure everyone has a great time while they're there.
Cons - Fear that you'll get so good that you'll be a danger to society! (j/k, there are plenty of guys there who will put you in check if your ego gets too big)
It's also a great place for kids!
If you're looking for the best place around this is it, Mr. Gray and Mr. Griffin offer everything from self defense, conditioning, technique and more! I've been a student here for a little more than a month and I absolutely am in love with the sport! You will DEFINITELY get your moneys worth, the staff is great with helping every single student individually and the people in the gym are great to work with!
