I would like to commend Professor Rosales for the school he is running. I have been a member for nearly a month, and I have enjoyed every session I have attended. His delivery, attention to detail, and welcoming environment make this an ideal school for beginners.
Have trained with and known Juan for 4 years. He is very knowledgeable about jiujitsu and works great with beginners teaching the basics. His new spot is a great gym with plenty of mat space and classes. Would highly recommend training at 1jiujitsu

Gym takes a priority in cleanliness and quality jiu jitsu. training with Juan is fantastically confusing, challenging, and exciting
Coach Juan is among the greatest instructors that I've ever come to know, regardless of subject matter. His attention to detail, ability to tailor lessons to the individual, and well-thought-out curriculums, will either lay the foundation of your jiujitsu journey or finely hone what you have already learned. On top of the world-class training that Coach Juan provides, he also stimulates and maintains an immaculate training environment. The 1Jiu-jitsu academy environment is one to be taken as an example.
Great new place to learn or grow your jiu-jitsu skills/training. Brand new facility is beautiful and has an amazing open format, with all white walls making it look spacious, elegant, and simple. Juan is a great instructor and a great guy. He truly cares about the progress of his students and he is very patient with you even if you are a slow learner. He is always open to answer any questions you have and will go around to help everybody. I have learned so much training under him because I can ask him any issues I'm having with a technique and he always goes above and beyond to help me. He has created a clean, fun, family friendly environment at his gym. If you want a fun laid back place to train, where you will get attention from the instructor, who will give you quality detailed instructions. I will recommend him to anybody who wants to train BJJ in the Hialeah area.

Juan is an incredible instructor with a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend training here.
Great gym! Head instructor Juan is very attentive and patient with his students, and the camaraderie amongst the members is great.
This is the nicest gym I have seen. Not sure why all BJJ gyms are not this nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is chill and feels like a bunch of friends hanging out.
Coach Rosales is exceptional! I've trained at various bjj gyms but have never met a coach who is as passionate about what he does than Juan. He takes his time and devotes his full attention in his instruction, making sure to break down movements and explain exactly why one should apply certain techniques as well as the rationale behind them. He is caring, detailed oriented, and patient with the ability to tailor to different learning styles and pushes you to be the best grappler you can be. I highly recommend Coach Juan to anyone who enjoys bjj, from the beginner hobbyist to the seasoned, experienced veteran as well as old and young alike. Moreover, the facility was clean, modern, and vibrant, facilitating a welcoming and warm environment to all that enter.
Juan is hands down one of the best instructors you can find out there. He’s funny, extremely talented, patient, and will make you feel like he truly cares about your growth in jiu jitsu. I definitely recommend him. You won’t be disappointed.
