Its fantastic i started about 2-3 weeks ago and i already see improvement the coaches are very funny and nice make sure always take a shower after a class!!!!! if your kid wants to do jiu jitsu this is the place to sign them up at.

10th Planet Goodyear is an amazing BJJ gym. The training is top notch, instruction is detailed and informative, and the vibes are 100/100. They take hygiene very seriously which is always appreciated with grappling. Whether you are looking to get into Jiu-Jitsu, or are looking for a new place to roll, 10th Planet Goodyear should be your first choice in the West Valley.
I've visited this gym a handful of times while traveling for work. The gym culture is very welcoming, and there are some very technical people that train here. Even though I am not a regular Juan and his coaches still give me individualized advice/tips to level up my game. I had intended to try out a few gyms in the area but liked the people and training so much that there was no need. I would highly recommend giving them a shot if you're in the area and looking to train.

I dropped in on a Monday on my drive home to CA from Texas to visit a friend that trains there. Really welcoming atmosphere, cool people, and tough rounds from everyone. I was also very impressed with the technique that was shown. 5 stars!

Solid place to train for locals and drop ins alike. The technical depth taught in class is pretty solid, with good attention to important details. Most importantly, the atmosphere and culture is super cool and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot!

Visiting the Phoenix area I came here for open mat day after Thanksgiving to work off those calories and was very impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and laid back vibes at this place! Had about 10 rolls with multiple people and everyone was nice and technical! Smaller gym but they maximized the space and had all the amenities that you need. Great group of guys! 10/10 would recommend!
Juan is a great teacher keeping up with modern no-gi jiu jitsu and has an amazing set up for his gym. There is a shower on site and he has a partnership with a sports recovery business to keep you in fighting shape. Great Sunday open mats with a variety of students from other schools in the area.

I give my highest recommendation to come play, train and have the support to become the best version of yourself no matter what your age or skill level. This coming from a 54 year old white belt. I have been attending here since May 2023 as I recently moved to the area. I get that going to any gym can be intimidating, especially a Jujitsu gym. I have to say that the instructors and training partners are great at making you feel welcome and are extremely patient with helping you learn techniques. All of the coaches are AMAZING! I know I am receiving the highest level of expertise demonstrated by their skill level. Juan is creating something very special here as far as passionately progressing people in the beautiful art of Jujitsu. The parking is great! The place is clean and I’m having fun! I recently competed in my first Jujitsu competition. I was so nervous and a lil scared. I’ve only trained Jujitsu regularly for close to two years. But I have competed in other sports such triathlons and obstacle courses. It was kinda like looking out at the water on my first open water swim and having that same feeling of in trepidation but embracing it because well. Plus your friends are doing it! Having that support system of camaraderie is what I have found here at 10thPlanet Goodyear! You’re not just a customer or a grappling dummie. The team here becomes your biggest fans and are happy to see you improve.

Coach Juan and his assistant coaches Luis and Nick are awesome. They are very welcoming and able to teach every skill level. Coach wants to you learn the right way to do the drills so you will be able to execute when the time comes. The people that train there want to help you improve also. Great place to learn and master your jujitsu.

The whole family is signed up to 10th Planet Goodyear. My son made the move to no gi recently and he's learning lots of new stuff, which is exactly what we were looking for. I was the one most reluctant to join but am so glad I did. There's a lot of really knowledgeable people there all led by Coach Juan and it's a great environment to train at for those with zero experience as well as for someone who has many years of training under their belt.

Last night I had privilege of stopping by 10th Planet Goodyear. Everything about that gym and training environment was excellent. Juan, their black belt, is super knowledgeable and technical. All of their students were friendly, laid back, and tough sparring partners. If you live near Goodyear, go check them out.

Juan is a great coach! Every time you step into the gym the atmosphere is fun and energetic! I've always wanted to get into combat sports and 10th planet Goodyear is a great place to do it. I learn and grow every time I step on the mat and I'm excited to see where my Jiu-Jitsu journey goes I like it so much I've got my whole family enrolled even my 6 year old! Go check it out!
