The gym is well maintained. The staff is friendly. Great etiquette on the mats. Everything a visitor can ask for. Kris was very accommodating and spent the extra time to go over the drill in both polish and english. I thought that was very thoughtful. His students are a great representation of the discipline and respect for the game that the instructors foster.
Posted 11 months agoEnglish blue belt here, taking a two day trip to Krakow. Came to Unity, was given a gi to rent for £4, excellent two hour session of technique, technical sparring and questions. Chris explained each technique in Polish first then in English. I thought my level was good but I was humbled but the blue belts at Unity. Good place to check your level internationally. They are fully equipped with showers, changing rooms and a water fountain. I will be trying to persuade my wife to let me come again tomorrow!
Posted 11 months agoI was doing a road trip in Poland and dropped by Unity Jiu Jitsu. The coaches were very welcoming as were the rest of the students. Great location, very good teaching skills and very friendly atmosphere!
Posted 1 year agoI've been training in a few places around the world, and I would definitely say this club is one of my favorite places. All coaches are highly knowledgeable, with great attention to detail and technique breakdowns. However, what I mostly value is their personal approach to the students and the good environment to learn and grow. If you're in Krakow and you like jujitsu, this is the place to go!
Posted 1 year agoI'm a white belt from London visiting Krakow for the weekend. I was recommended unity gym by one of my coaches and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting or wanting to train. Krzysiek was welcoming and friendly and the class set-up was challenging and really fun. The class is taught in polish and English. After a warm up and technical drilling, we did 6 minute sparring rounds and I got to roll with two other women which was a plus. It was a really positive learning environment and I'd recommend it to anyone who might be nervous to try a new gym or anyone just looking to enjoy some BJJ In Krakow.
