I've been training at Unforgiven MMA BJJ Academy for a while now, and I can't recommend it enough. This gym is excellent for everyone, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The environment strikes the perfect balance between being friendly and competitive, pushing you to improve while making you feel welcome. One of the standout features is the opportunity to compete. The academy provides ample chances for those interested in testing their skills in competitions. The facility itself is top-notch: clean, spacious, and equipped with accessible toilets, showers, and a sauna. The coaches at Unforgiven MMA BJJ Academy are incredible. They are attentive to each individual's needs and potential, ensuring you get the most out of every session. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, this is the place to be.

Our son joined in 2022 as a timid and shy boy. We are very pleased to see how much he has improved in terms of confidence, resilience and discipline since then. We give a lot of credit to Coach Fadi and his team for this. They do not sugar-coat things and to be honest, the initial period was tough, an adjustment for our kid, but the coaches knew how to work with him, when to push and when to encourage, so as time goes by, we could see how our shy , timid boy grew and continues to grow.

Oh man, I can't recommend this gym enough! It has truly sparked a passion for BJJ in me. The coach is incredibly smart and understands BJJ to a T, yet every lesson can still be fun. The community here feels like a family, and the support from everyone is amazing. Honestly i can almost guarantee once you try it out its hard to not fall in love with martial arts and the gym!!

I knew why they ask to pay a year in advance. I do not want to send my kid anymore after 6 months passed. They mentioned to someone who can't attend competition, the reason is because "they don't focus in the class, or they have a very short memory that they forget what we teach them after each class." I think "they do not focus" is enough, just do not add "they have a very short memory." No moms want to hear their kids have a "very short memory", even not directly said to my kid. Through that message, I knew how they treat kids and I felt that my kid can not learn anything from there. I know they do not refund the rest of fee that I already paid, but even I give up that money I won't send my kid there. Please do not pay upfront for a year, and think carefully whether you really want to put your kids in here. ------- Plus they sent very rude message after I uploaded this review. Very disappointed and just glad I got out from this institution. ------ Here are the answers of your questions. 1. Even, I received a message of apology, I didn't want to send my kid anymore and wrote my personal opinion what I felt. You can't satisfy everyone, just accept someone may have an unpleasant experience and leave. 2. That's my mistake. I supposed to write half a year but I wrote half a month. So I changed to 6 months. 3. I already said "they do not focus in the class" is enough. It seems you have a very short memory as well, cuz you couldn't remember what I said. 4. Well, they might think it is rude but no one expressed. 5. Even discounted, it was nothing. Anyway I gave up the half year fee. (It is more than RM 1000) 6. Of course, you do not need my approval for your message. That is just my thoughts and my review. 7. You told me I am sensitive. That's the wrong word to express someone who claimed properly and reviewed what I felt. 8. That is all my personal opinion of what I felt from your message and your attitude. You do not have the right to fix my thoughts. Stop writing messages and I won't come back here anymore.

I just recently joined this gym in mid January (my dad was kickboxing there and wanted me to try out bjj), yet I feel like I have known the people there for years. The community is so helpful and welcoming, they're like a second family. The coaching itself has really helped me learn and build muscles and keep me active while still having fun. The coach there, Coach Fadi, is one of a kind. He's open to anyone (as long as you don't hurt anyone or yourself in any way, obviously) and has done so much hard work to make sure that the people that attend the gym feel comfortable and encouraged. Not to mention, he often gives great speeches/lessons/lectures that actually help a ton to the point where we feel like we can trust him to help us verbally with our related situations. The training itself, like previously mentioned, is very thorough. They treat everyone equally, even if its a white belt that has a slight chance of not even continuing bjj, they still have hope and does their best to teach. All in all, I really appreciate the unforgiven academy and highly recommend it, whether it's for a kid or an adult. And for the record, i personally think 'unforgiven' is a badass name.
