Great group and Professor! I trained with the Gi and No-Gi class. Technique was the focus. The professor made sure I was challenged by changing the partners. A lot of strong and highly experienced training partners.
I’ve been training at Team Forsa Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for almost six months, starting with absolutely no prior experience. From day one, Professor and all the team have been nothing but supportive, patient, and highly skilled. Not only have they helped me develop technical skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but they’ve also guided me in building mental toughness, physical strength, and overall confidence. I came to Forsa following a broken leg with a lot of hesitation due to my injury and recovery. The entire Forsa made sure to focus on movements that ensured they did not subject my leg to risk. They made sure I could still get the knowledge from class while simultaneously working on strengthening my muscle. Couldn’t speak more highly of the Forsa team and recommend them to anyone who is looking to dive into jiu jitsu regardless of experience.

Walking into this BJJ gym was such a pleasant surprise. Unlike most other gyms, this place was clean - the mats are always pristine and there's never any weird smells. It’s so refreshing to find a BJJ gym that actually puts an emphasis on maintaining a clean and professional training environment. The instructors here are great. They break down techniques in a way that makes sense to beginners (aka me). I am hoping to work my way up to professional one day! With the environment Team Forsa creates, I truly believe that dream can become a reality. Whether you're completely new to BJJ like me or have some experience, you'll find a really amazing community here :)
Went here as a first timer and it was a really nice experience. Welcoming group and the instructor Anderson was awesome. The group is really friendly and knows how and when to give an extra push. Definitely recommend coming here and giving it a shot

I started with Anderson as a white belt nearly seven years ago and am currently a brown belt. Such a killer environment. Five stars all the way. Anderson is a phenomenal instructor making sure to put his students first but implement also implement the discipline behind Jiu-Jitsu. For the younger kids this is a great facility to bring them into the area of martial arts. Hope more people can discover Forsa.

As a former martial arts instructor myself, I know how important it is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. My son, who has ADHD and is very hyperactive, started with Professor Michelle at Team Forsa a little over a year ago when he was 6 years old (now 7). Watching him in Jiu-Jitsu class, you wouldn’t be able to tell that he struggles with focus or hyperactivity. We were immediately impressed with how Michelle taught the class, interacted with our son, and even called his attention when he misbehaved. With her strong Judo background, she instills a level of discipline and focus in the children that I have never seen in any other Jiu-Jitsu school. Her approach is not only highly skilled but also filled with patience and understanding, making the learning process enjoyable for the kids. In the beginning, our son misbehaved more often than not, so much so that we often felt embarrassed by his actions. Each time we apologized, both Professor Michelle and Professor Anderson never made us feel uncomfortable or judged. Instead, they reassured us that it was just a phase and part of the process and that with 'teamwork' between parents and the professor, things would improve. Michelle's calm, supportive approach, filled with patience and understanding, gave us hope, and sure enough, it worked! Over time, we saw a significant positive change in his behavior, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and support. We loved her teaching style and the safe environment she provided in her class so much that we decided to enroll our 2.5-year-old (now 3) in the little kids' class, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. In fact, we plan to enroll our 1-year-old in her class as soon as he's old enough to join! We've recommended Team Forsa to several of our friends, and ever since our son started, six kids have joined the team through our recommendation. Five of them are from my son’s Judo club, whose parents have experience with martial arts either by practicing themselves or by watching their kids' classes at the Judo club, and they can easily recognize how safe and well-structured the environment is for children. Whether you intend to have your child compete in tournaments or simply want them to take Jiu-Jitsu for the confidence, discipline, and focus it builds, Team Forsa is the perfect place. Watching both of our children thrive under Michelle and Anderson's instruction has been such a rewarding experience. Team Forsa has truly become our second home. We're there almost every day! It's more than just a Jiu-Jitsu school; it's a community where children, parents, and even grandparents train together. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-oriented, making it a place where everyone, regardless of age, skill level, or "disability", feels like they belong. Team Forsa has been an incredible place for my daughters and me. Professors Anderson and Michelle, along with the rest of the coaching staff, are highly skilled world champions and genuinely care about each student's individual progress. Professor Anderson’s experience and teaching style is top notch, but what really sets this training center apart is the culture that he has created at Team Forsa. It is rare to find an environment that is so friendly, welcoming, and supportive where you can learn and develop your jiu jitsu safely with training partners who provide nothing but mutual respect and are willing to share their knowledge. It is also unique for a gym to have such high level female competitors. I have been training under Anderson since 2019, from white to now purple belt. I wouldn’t train anywhere else.

I have been training with Professor Anderson for many years. I have also trained, and fought, in different martial arts for a number of years as well. I can honestly say, this is the best place I have ever trained! Anderson is an expert/professional. His classes and guidance are the perfect balance of pushing you to your limit while exercising careful risk mitigation. All of the team’s members are very friendly and inviting, yet will also push you to be great. Whether you’re an experienced fighter, have zero experience, or anything in between - this is the place for you! P.s. - Anderson puts on amazing kids classes and is super good with them. I wouldn’t recommend my kids or my sister’s kids, anywhere else.

Professor Anderson is a great instructor for adults. Can’t find a bad thing to say about him. However, for children. I would not recommend signing your child up for classes here if they have a diagnosis of ADHD or present with any neurodivergence. They simply do not have the capacity to work with these children. My son was enrolled for seven months and after one day in class he was embarrassed and asked to leave. For some context, my son struggles with inattentive and hyperactive type ADHD so he requires many prompts and does much better with small class instruction or one on one. During this time my son was struggling with being bullied at school and a medication change. He was also enrolled in an MMA class prior to this BJJ class. So it was very difficult for him to differentiate between the MMA class and BJJ. When frustrated and being choked, there were a few instances where he impulsively punched or kicked. We kept going because repetition and consistency is key for learning any kind of discipline. Anyways, over the seven months I even tried the recommendation to leave my son in the class (and not watch him), and keep having him come despite my better judgment that this probably wouldn’t be effective. I would have preferred someone be transparent that this was the route they were going with (to ban my son from their establishment) vs yell at him, embarrass him and myself, then have the “owner” (who I never met) send me a message calling my son’s actions deliberate and dangerous and ban him from their “establishment”. Needless to say, a conversation would have been best instead of spending 1043.00 dollars and wasting countless hours all to have to further damage my son’s self esteem.
