I've trained at a few gyms before, but nothing compares to Pride Fighting Academy. The coaches are knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and genuinely invested in your progress—whether you're a total beginner or looking to compete. The atmosphere is super welcoming, and there's a great mix of disciplines from MMA and boxing to yoga and recovery. You leave every session feeling stronger, more confident, and part of a solid community. Highly recommend PFA to anyone wanting real training with real people!

I started doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at PFA in November 2021 after looking for something new and different to the training that I’d been doing before. I get bored easily so was looking for something where I could stay fit and retain my strength while learning a new skill. I’ve found the BJJ classes incredibly addictive and more intense than anything I’ve tried before. It’s also a sport that has been around for a long time but is still evolving. The trainers are all amazing, diverse and each have a different approach which gives you a really well rounded understanding of the sport. More than equipment, training and the things you’d expect from a gym these days, you’ll find a family type atmosphere and a community that’s as awesome to be around as BJJ is addictive.

High level with good intro for beginners, great people, clean and everything works. 5/5. I don't think you will find another facility on this level functioning from 6am until late. There is something for everyone

Absolutely fantastic. Everyone is super welcoming, friendly and supportive. Walking into a combat gym may be intimidating for some but the staff and patrons are all kind, warm and fun. Incredible coaches who have a lot of experience teaching and competing. I'm not from SA but have found a community at PFA and I have nothing but love for everyone here. 100% recommend
