  Best place to come train in greece. Very tourist friendly. Cheap drop in fee and clean people and mats. Stop by if youre visiting 🤙🥋

  I’ve had the pleasure of training at Octagon for some days, as a visitor, and it has been a great experience. The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and genuinely invested in each student’s progress. The classes are well-structured, offering a perfect balance of technique, drilling, and sparring. The community is incredibly welcoming and supportive, making it a fantastic environment for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Whether you’re looking to compete or simply improve your fitness and self-defense skills, Octagon is the place to be. Highly recommended!

  I'm from Australia, and am travelling Europe currently staying in Athens. I had a browse online at the different BJJ gyms in Athens, and saw all the good reviews about Octagon Academy which is why I went there. Argyris was extremely welcoming, and happily switched to English with me, and paired me with training partners who were fluent in English too for the no gi class drills. The class was ran very professionally, the academy was maintained very well, clean mats etc. I was really happy with my time there and plan on training there a few more times before I leave Athens. Yes, the class was all in Greek, but there wasn't one moment where that caused an issue because Argyris would always come and clarify stuff in English for me. The gym location is very accessible via public transport, or walking distance from any of the main hotel/hostel spots in the city. OSS, thanks for having me guys!

  Came to train here from Canada and I didn’t know anybody before I went but everyone was very welcoming. Very professional gym with a good vibe. I don’t speak any Greek and they were very helpful in translating for me. Would highly recommend :)

  I have been in octagon academy as a visitor multiple times. Every time I felt welcomed and had an amazing time. The team is a group of very nice people and the jiu jitsu and the classes level are great!
