Well that was a big mistake. The staff and members aren't welcoming. The MT class was boring. Even the instructor spent part of the time scrolling on his phone. My son then tried the BJJ class, not long after the warm up he felt unsafe learning a guillotine choke and tried to leave the mat at which point the instructor scolded him and told him off while we were packing to leave. The admin staff care about money and socials. The good reviews here are paid reviews *see photo, in fact they're asking me to pay right now before asking how my experience was. Have since spoken with other expats friends in KL who confirm this is the vibe of "City Centre Branch" and at best have suggested "follow Diego" for a better experience. Quite possibly the absolute worst gym in all of South East Asia (see photo attached, I have done the leg work) 0/5 stars avoid at all costs!!
Posted a week agoI participated in the Muay Thai Class of Coach Manoel and was surprised by how welcoming the atmosphere was. The Team was highly motivated and the Coach took his time to help every participant impriving their technique. If you stay in Kuala Lumpur, I really recommend trying out a class.

They create a supportive and welcoming environment where everyone feels motivated to improve. The team camaraderie is amazing, and I've made lifelong friends here. Whether you're a beginner or experienced practitioner, this gym is the perfect place to learn and grow in your BJJ journey.
Posted 4 months agoGreat bjj training, we were here for a month and enjoyed it here a lot. Very nice people and quality instruction. The 7am class was busy in the mornings and the Specifico class is also recommended. They don’t have a reception as such so you need to contact them to join and it’s totally worth it
Posted 2 months agoVery good gym where you can do all kinds of combat sports. My brother and I mostly did boxing and Muay Thai classes. Big thanks to Coach Tainan, who is a boxing expert and taught us a lot, and to Kru Manoel, who’s a great teacher. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Kuala Lumpur. The French brothers.
