I can’t believe that the airport is locked! I have an early morning flight and came early around 4 am and to my greatest shock gates are locked and no where for me to wait. I was practically stranded. I had to go back to local (old airport) which was also locked. I met some fellow passengers and we waited outside the gate till 5 am
Posted 3 weeks agoVery basic airport. Wheelchair accessible. A lot of touts around. Too many unofficial people hovering around the airport. The facility certainly needs upgrade. Parking is available even for overnight use. Security is provided. Exiting the airport is chaotic. Only one check out point for cars. Very frustrating. Facilities are broken down
Posted 8 months agoMurtala Mohammed Local airport is where you board flight to different states in Nigeria..... Is well organized and a very busy place for drop off and pick up. CCTV everywhere, no hidden place for criminal activity. I appreciate FAAN👍❤️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️Safety First 🥇🎷🎈
Posted 11 months agoMurtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MM2) is one of the most popular place in Lagos as well as in Nigeria entirely. It's a local airport terminal, but of higher volume and capacity compared to other local airport terminals in Africa. Regulated by Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Lagos State government as well as other private airlines. The number of landing and take off flights here is huge. It has and amazing view. Extremely large parking lots. Many passengers airlines and cargo airlines are in operation here. You may experience a delay in your flight due to bad weather, logistics issues as well as other factors which may even lead to cancellation of flights! However it’s been a reliable and amazing terminal that has been providing great services for customers. Very popular and easy to locate despite the complexity of driving within Lagos. If you’re coming from Ibadan, from Berger, turn right to Obafemi Awolowo way, this road leads straight to airport. And if you’re coming from Lagos Island, pass through third mainland bridge to Oworonshoki-Gbagada express way to Oworonshoki-Oshodi way down to airport road.
Posted a year agoMost of the services can be better. The immediate environment can be better. The attitude of some of the workers can be better. Services can be faster, and airlines need to do better with their flight schedules. Opportunities, deals, and possibly lives get lost every time there's a delayed flight. Some go for hours and eventually get cancelled. The whole airport process and the work ethics of staff need an overhaul.
