I’ve been training here for more than 10 years. This is my home gym. I found my friends and my community here. It’ll be a brag but I must admit that the level of Jiujitsu is here is great and we’ve got so many higher belts to roll and learn from. The coaches here are very detailed and precise. They breakdown the techniques so that it’s good for all levels of learners and practitioners. If you’re a beginner (and female) and a bit hesitant, don’t worry, it’s a good and comfortable environment for you to come and try the gym out.
Posted a year agoCoach Aaron is hands down the best jiujitsu instructor I’ve ever trained with. Have trained for 4 years elsewhere and attended seminars but it’s just 9 months now at Leverage and have made big big improvements to my game. There’s a focus on techniques that work and key details that make it work. It’s the personalised feedback from coaches and crazy talented training partners that have made a world of difference. Recommend if you are serious about improving your jiujitsu.
Posted 3 weeks agoStarted training here for almost a few years. Both coaches Aaron and Tjun are very dedicated and passionate about Jiujitsu. They provide a structural class and curriculum that is very comprehensive enough to learn for everyone. The training environment is safe for everyone and everyone looks out for each other safety and well-being. Best part of training BJJ in this gym besides having the best coaches around town is the training crew who is very supportive!
Posted a year agoEveryone is kind. The first actor did me a great favor. In particular, I think coach Aaron is the best Jiu-Jitsu coach I've ever met.
Posted a year agoHave been training in Leverage for years since i was a white belt. The coaches are very technical and the gym cultivates a healthy and safe environment regardless of the level of skillset or experience of the members. Having ample parking, strategic location and Being nearby cafes and eateries also a pluspoint for me to sneak in some good coffee and food before training.
