Joined LFA more than a year ago starting with Judo and later adding BJJ (Gi & No Gi) into my schedule. Enjoyed both classes as the people and the senseis / coaches has been helpful throughout my training session. Also, the vibes and environment of the gym has make the training experience more pleasent and enjoyable. Oh, they also have SnC & Boxing / Striking classes too! Definetely recommend this gym if you're looking into learning how to fight especially if you're beginner 👊
Posted 2 months agoStarted going to this gym/dojo 3 months ago after going for a trial. At first the gym felt small, but the coaches were all great coaches and all of them had beast credentials to their art. The fact that it was located just nearby my hse made it even more sweet and the gym owner wanted it to be a community dojo/gym for people of all walks of life can come and learn martial arts in a safe and friendly environment. I treated it like a "padang ptg2" where after a stressful day I can come and blow of steam. The main goal initially was for fitness, but due to the coaches being great at what they do I progressed and found myself loving the arts. Highly recommended to join or come in for a trail to see for yourself.
Posted 2 years agoSuper happy to officially join Legacy Fighting Arts! I love their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes led by my good friend and amazing coach Adam! Only at Legacy you get to learn under a national athlete and SEA Games Jiu Jitsu Medalist! And most importantly, a very welcoming and family-like community, and a healthy, nontoxic gym environment & culture! Never once did I feel out of place when I came to Legacy. Plus, no other gym has many MEBJJ Brown and Black Belts who visit and train together!
Posted 7 months agoTried out this gym for their Muay Thai class last year and have been hooked since. The coach is friendly, helpful and patient; and his classes can be tough but are a lot of fun! The gym itself can be a bit cramped when there are two full classes going on, but it meets all necessary requirements of a gym (clean mats, basic weights, variety of classes). It feels like a community, everyone gets along and everyone is very welcoming. 10/10 would recommend this gym! 🥊
Posted a year agoRecently attended what the instructor referred to as "Self Protection" class. An incredible 4 weeks experience. A much needed knowledge and skill to be acquired especially for ladies for self protection. The instructor, U-waye was knowledgeable and patient. You can feel his passion about teaching and sharing his knowledge. Atmosphere of the gym is superb, clean and other senior students are very helpful too. Highly recommended! Perhaps I will return and join other class like BJJ in the future. Whichever paling suitable with my basic skills 😁
